Just a slight improvement to your barrows route. If you do Ahrim and Karil between the melee brothers, you can regen run energy while flinching instead of waiting.
In the odd chance you end up snagging a champion scroll from a skeleton or something, those are actually chest content since you get a lamp by searching the chest of champions after each champion is defeated (in case you didn't already know that). It's actually a decent bit of slayer xp too
i literally have never watched any runescape content or play the game. I'm hyped for this series. Such a sick concept and explained beautifully in my opinion.

Just a little heads up! In settings you can turn off the full chat box notifications. You can make it so you don't get interrupted. Hope you read this buddy! Great series once again😍😍
by the way, if you worried about the level up stall still (dont know if that is going to matter at this point since it gets longer for level ups) you can toggle that off in options to not pop up and stall you. since you are probably clicking off it anyway to move you gonna miss the popup anyway
You can do the Fremennik questline so you can get to Miscellania for the Managing Miscellania side reward. When you use it for fishing, you can receive caskets. Now you have an excuse to do those quests as long as you end up using that in the long run for passive chest/casket gaining :)
🤔You know I wasn't going to include miscellania at all but it does technically meet my rule: 'A quest is valid if the chest unlocked has a REPEATABLE REWARD after the quest is completed' and I never considered technically it's a repeatable reward, I think I'll probably include this - so I can go up to fremmy trials c:
In response to your first video and the chest-related woodcutting question. If you define the supply crate reward from Wintertodt as chests, you could theoretically do that.
I don't even play OSRS anymore but this series sometimes makes me want to come back, then I remember all the clicking, keep it up! can't wait to see the next one!
Mad respect for Tellacon. This is imo the only content creator that feels it can match Settled who is for better of worse the person you get compared to in OSRS longform content creators
Fun fact, you can take the relics you get from kamdozal to the museum for kudos, also, eyes of newt are quest items since you need then for witches potion.
@Tellacon at 39:24 you mention the level up screen stalls your character, If you go into your Wrench, Then hit the "All Settings" Button. Type in "Level" and you can disable the Level-up Interface and this should stop the stall issue your having :D

I've started my own chest ironman last month and found all sorts of weird and wonderful things out (involving collecting bones for demon slayer from a chest). Bit of a random one but I've allowed myself to buy runes from the Ali Morrisane lockboxes after Rogue Trader (just a thieving roll for elemental runes, and solving a sudoku every time you want the other runes)
Hey bro, Loving the series. Just Quickly with the barrow's~ Kill ah and karils, then find the tunnel. Go down and walk in and out of the room (like the first room in the clip). You will be able to spawn brothers, then safe spot behind the rock or the ladder. After a while you may find NPC's wont span, just hop to a different world. This cant be down on all outside corners, some rocks are a little too far. Just do a few and you will remember (or mark the rocks). Also remember the ladder is in all 4 corners even if you can see them. Good luck
I do this for a couple of brothers in the video, the problem with it is other peoples spawns and my own aggro and I have to kill them while the melee brother is safespotted, the skeletons eat away at my food, so it's more fun to do them in their rooms for now!
I am currently only 6 mins in but I having difficulties remember everything that has happened in the past since it was a month ago (had to look at previous vid really quick). Would it be possible to do a quick recap prior to main vid? Since the nature of the video's take so long to come out it is sometimes difficult to remember what happened previously. I know this is super old but, Clay from ice mountain chests, runes from goblin chest = tele tabs. Can train construction with planks also from ice mountain.
So a little tip for the brother you get in the tunnel. On my hc i hated getting a dh tunnel. I found tho if you go in to the crypt and fail the door puzzle and make the catacomb shift you can return to the top and the brother that leads down will of changed. So you never have to have ahrim tunnel again
I would really like it if you would just loot clamps, cradles whatever because they use the same mechanics as a chest. It would really help the series progress and make it more enjoyable as a viewer imo. Like if u agree! ❤️ love the series. (Tellacon if you see this make an poll to check i think alot of viewers would agree)
I was initially going to include some other things but after theorycrafting I wanted to be as masochistic as possible and figured out my limits with chests, I can see it from both sides but I think I'll stick to this for now 🤔 It will be in the back of my mind, it okay next series will be 'locked to everything but chests' haha
@@ChampionTan In my FAQ on ep 1 description I go over it and a coffin/sarcophagus with much googling passes in some cases, but a crate never done, allowing coffins in general makes teh series better overall because raids and ogre coffins too, but the argument is there that they are chests!
@Tellacon in the same sense you should be a uim as a bank isn't a chest but a vault. It's horseshoes and hand grenades at a certain point. Love the series, and play however you want to play the game! I have an area locked account I'm working on currently so I feel the struggle lol

honestly the nature rune chest was a godsent for me when i made my first account and started as an ironman. Ive spent like 90% of my early days of playing in ardy in general. I had like 80 thieving before even one other stat above 40. Thats also just been about 10 or 11 months ago so hasnt been too long.

If I’m not mistaken you got some light orbs from oldaks chest. You also got empty ones but if you got the ones that arnt empty you can use those in the city for a semi decent amount of fire making xp I believe so you may not want to drop them in the future
In barrows you can go in and out of the doors in the tunnel and it will randomly spawn a brother that you haven't killed yet. this way you can safespot all of the melee brothers in the tunnels without needing to run around the coffins.
We can do this, but it's not as consistent really, I tried for awhile and sometimes you can just go so long without them, also if it's a ahrim/karil tunnel it can hurt - lmao, I might retry it when I come back!
tourist trap with 2 huge exp lamps involve a chest. Talking to the captain about sailing to distract him which allows you to search the chest beside him

I'm pretty sure that you could just find the crypt brother first and then you could Spam a door in a corner room to safespot all the melee brothers so you don't have to run around also if you could get a weapon poison your bone dagger is garuenteed to hit on a spec much love ❤
You could! But this is more controlled atleast and I know what I'll be spawning, a random karil is very deadly, and the annoying thing in the crypts is the constant pjing 😭 Bone dagger imminent!
i think u can disable the level up interface in the settings menu under the wrench icon also i've been wondering, how will u obtain a sinister key? the only way i can think of obtaining one is through magpie implings which is through the hunter skill which isn't chest related
Since caskets count as chestscouldnt you do that fishing minigame as you get caskets pretty often, and that will give you rune armour and some jewellery
There's a way to level up your woodcutting (I guess) .. Maybe someone already mentioned it or you already leveled up your woodcutting .. but you can use seeds obtained through chests to plant trees and cut them using an axe obtained through chests .. and I guess that gives wc XP .. right? Or level up slayer in the wilderness to loot Larren keys and you could get the task with the trees .. although this seems really slow

Im pretty sure its within your rules to do Tempoross for any fishing experience you need bro. So long as you drop any rewards that arent caskets youre gucci there. Just occurred to me when you were talking bout the mermaid tears and shrimp :)
Yeah tempoross is one of my only fishing methods! I am allowed big net fishing for caskets, camdozaal, and tempoross, I can also use the fishing bait and rod from camdozaal chests to catch any fish in the game as the resources came from a chest! The issue is I'm 4 fishing and can't start until 5 fishing, but to do that I need to lamp... but my only valid lamps are from the Leo randoms which I need 8 of haha!
Can’t you get the fishbowl and diving aparatus? It’s needed for RFD, where you go underwater to make fishcakes. Or would you have to drop them after that sub-quest?

Ali Morrisane is also allowed for me too! As he specifically tells you it's a chest, buttt for now I have no money so thieving is good >=)

@@Tellacon With this logic you wouldnt be able to loot uniques from TOA because they come out of a sarcophagus, not a chest.

I can only use none chest items for the quests to unlock chests, gotta be dropped after as they didn't come from a chest :sadge:
