Canadian National's Missabe Subdivision (Part 1)

The former Duluth, Missabe, & Iron Range mainline was the main reason for my visit to the Duluth area. Especially with the imminent takeover of new ore car sets and AC44 rebuilds. With that, I set out to capture as much footage of the old standard cab Dash 8's, the original DMIR ore jennies, and, of course, my personal favorites, the former BLE & DMIR EMD tunnel motor SD40's. By the time I covered the DMIR side of things on the Range in the middle of the week, it had gotten considerably and unusually slow. However, my luck would turn for the best on Friday, June 7th as y'all will see in the video and I would finally get my chance to get footage of the classic tunnel motors doing what they're meant to do!
Sadly, this would most likely be the last time I get to see the old ore jennies, the Dash 8's, and the SD40T-3's, so it was a tad bittersweet to return to see them all still kicking knowing their eventual fates... Still, I hope y'all enjoy what I was able to catch of all the classic equipment I got to see on the former DMIR!
