The real MVP, Timmy deserved too, but Manu became legend in those finals. Great Video, thank you!
He should've won FINALS MVP that year.
My favorite player Manu ginobili20 here in the Philippines 🇵🇭.
As a Pistons fan, I thought that Manu was the X-factor in this series. If you take Manu out of this series then the Pistons win no doubt. Just my opinion.
The real x-factor for the SPURS in this series is "BIG SHOT BOB" robert horry..
I agree. Ginobili literally made those finals. Everyone was trying to do wild lay ups in the park after this
Y’all should have drafted Carmelo Anthony. lol
@@bballNeverEnds anddddd that has nothing to do with my comment.
@@1waytickettopluto so Carmelo wouldn’t have made a difference? Ok lol
ginobili definitely should have won this finals mvp
You won't hear many people speak bad about Manu. Fierce competitor that anyone would want on their team
Also Al and Hubie in the call 🥲
Ginobili goated
Manu Ginobili is one of the hardest to guard and that is a fact. Its very, very difficult to anticipate his moves because he's so unorthodox
Idk how people thought the Spurs were boring. It’s beautiful basketball.
Because they just keep on winning.
Aside from Bruce Bowen being a dirty piece of shit, the Spurs really played beautiful basketball.
The Spurs became much more exciting, especially once Manu and TP were deployed on the league, but they were a dominant defensive team, with a slow, meandering offensive style. And, it didn't help that their overall reputation was a bit questionable, at best, if not just unlikable. People thought they were dirty (particularly Bruce Bowen) and heavily used underhanded tactics, like flopping and 'Hack-a-Shaq'.
And, for a while, they battled for Western Conference supremacy with the much more appealing (to casuals) Lakers.
Long hair manu 💪🏻
We need more full game throwbacks highlights bruh
Manu final MVP
Watching this when I was a young teen, Manu's work in this Finals inspired me to work on using my left hand.
Manu se merecia el MVP
Thank u so much for this vid, Ive been waiting for it since those fianls ❤
Probably was MVP but Ginobli is one of those team first players and doesn’t care as long as the team wins
Manu would’ve put up doncic numbers if he was the first option on a team
Thanks for this video. New subscriber
The league wasn't ready in 2005 for a foreign and Hispanic on top of that finals MVP. Had this happen in 2021 they would give Manu the award no doubt.
Tim Duncan's had a stellar series though and being the franchise player it was the safe choice.
Heart, soul and brain af the team!
Prime manu
I'm Timmy no. 1 fan but Manu got robbed
Name an nba superstar who can elude 3 to 4 opponents on 1 single play so many times? Kobe, jordan and lebron are some, but not as smooth as manu does, even to 5 players.
Manu deserved MVP on that series. He was much more efficient and impactful than Duncan, while being about equal in terms of raw stats. He would have won it by a difference in today's NBA, where the awards are given looking more at advanced stats. I mean, if Iguodala won it over Curry in 2015 (total travesty), then Manu should have definitely won it over Duncan in 2005.
manu was little bit better than duncan at those finals
Ese MVP era para Manu Ginobili
I don't see much player now doing the euro,
not skilled enough to pull it off. Manu was incredible
GINOBILI GOAT
yeah.. the piston "can" switch
I disagree
Duncan was the better player in this series.
Yup.
Wth no men
The stats don't reflect how well Manu did, or for me he should have been the MVP
