WARNINGS & RECOMMENDATIONS
🚩 Before you update your machine, note that it may clear any data that you may already have in it. Because of this, I recommend that you complete the update process before setting up a new printer, so that you will know that you do not have any data in its memory.
🚩 If you need the password for your printer, it may be located on a sticker on the back.
🚩 To control the frequency of update notifications, open the “Software Update Notification” in the Brother Utilities software and right-click the

@@SeanDillman I'll be 78 in July. Now Retired, I spent 41 years in IT as an Application Development Software Engineer. I have been through everything and seen everything in what can go wrong! I needed to get this printer installed to print out my tax documents to get to H&R Block. Consequently, I got up at 6AM to get this done. Every other presentation on YT on how to do the settings to access my local Wifi were totally confused. I found your channel! Perfectly clear instructions! Blam! Suddenly I was connected and got everything printed. Got to go back to bed in relief! I am old school. When someone does a great job in life, people should tell them! I double click on the download and all it does is uncompress the file. There is no setup.exe file or a readme.txt to tell me how to get it to install.

Why when I put in HL-2270DW and then download, I keep getting unconfirmed download and can never get beyond that. Many thanks. BTW - I'm on a new Mac - with M2 chip / Ventura 13.5.2

Hi, we are not able to figure out how to scan double sided/2 sided/Duplex pages using Brother iPrint&Scan. Can you please help.

I want to print two photos on one page but there are so few options. It doesn’t allow me to choose how many pages per sheet.
Hi Bintz. Printing two photos on one page is a somewhat advanced thing to do. One idea is that you could put the photos in PowerPoint (if you have it) and you can print multiple slides on one page (which would get you two photos on the same page). You could also make your own page using Adobe Photoshop. Also, Adobe Lightroom is all about photo editing so I bet it would include an option to print two photos on one page (though I have never tried it).
Did you find a resolution to this? Do you know if you can do it using the Brother software?

How to reorder the pages after scan?
Hi there. Does it allow you to simply click and drag the pages to reorder them before saving?
Just installed it. This app takes the prize for most disk space on my hard drive, 890 megs. Now I need to work on cleaning up space. Why the heck does this have to be so big!
Oh wow Randy. I never noticed how much space it takes. Hard drive sizes have become so large over the past decade or so, I now only ever really need to worry about pictures and video files taking up space, not installed software, though I certainly see your point. Thanks for commenting. 😊👍
But how to print an image full-page? I dont see any margin settings

Worked fine on my laptop but the app can't find the printer. Really frustrating because I want the convenience of printing from my phone. 😢

Hi @@fleshedexperience. That is really frustrating. I'm sorry to hear it. At least if it works on your laptop, and on your partner's phone, you have narrowed down the issue. Sometimes tracking down the problem is the biggest part of finding a solution so you're halfway there. Is your phone definitely connected to the same wireless network as the printer? That is perhaps the first thing I would think of, and then I would look at ensuring that the phone has the latest version of the iPrint and Scan software. After that, I would need to do something more thinking about why it isn't working.

I’m having the issue of not connecting on my computer or phone. I have tried everything. I’m exhausted. Asked for a cal back with brother twice and no one called.

Watch out, This is the worst printer ever. The instructions take like 1-2 hours, and the instructor talks so fast that dont bother following him. I m very sorry that i cant return it. It is absolutely useless.
