Eramis being "chosen" is funny to me. She's a perfect villain with motives no one really blames in a way. But this is so blatant and fast that I can't help but wonder if the devs just didn't know how to wrap her character up. I feel she would've been better as a moral gray character. Showing care to other Fallen but hatred towards humanity... That's literally what seems to happen in a way. She gets the piece and instead of out guardian opening her skull to the light in the room we let her leave with it and she's still a hostile bitch. I just feel like this made no sense and they had no idea how to redeem her and it never crossed their minds that they don't need to redeem her
The Witness being introduced really ruined everything. (There was actually leaked information and even character models of other pyramid occupants that were swapped late in development for this Witness idea, and the story warping so heavily around the latter seems to have done a number on most or all of the related arcs and characters.)
Just finished Revenant, honestly was meh materiel, but holy cow the final fight against Fikrul had so much forsaken material. During the final cutscene, our guardian makes the same fist as in the cover photo for Forsaken. Fikrul being the last Baron on the list that started in Forsaken.
fikrul absolutely is going to be the first eliksni guardian the traveler raises. they foreshadow it hard as hell during the mission “he’s on the same path as his father” etc., his devotion and sacrifice for the scorn, etc.
While people are complaining about how this story was, especially with how Eido wanted to free Eramis...keep in mind, Eido has ALWAYS had faith in Eramis since Season of the Plunder, and yes, Eido is naïve, but at the same time, it's how she was written. As for Eramis, I think this is a nice way to end her story, she gets to help rebuild Riis while also aiding her people the way it was MEANT to be, not how she has done it during Beyond Light and such, with the Echo's help of course. Personally, I feel like this was a much better ending to this episode, unlike Echoes... Will Heresy be good? We shall see, but it certainly won't make me stay after Heresy is done and over with.
I really wished that they actually made Eramis’s redemption more sympathetic and more emotional because she has become of one my favourite antagonists, but apart from that I enjoyed this season a bit more than Echoes
Eramis was used by the witness to get the traveller to leave Earth into orbit, however she wanted the traveller destroyed while the witness needed it to begin the final shape

At least this episodes ending was better and story was way better could have been a lot worse like the first one

awesome! now I don't have to bother playing to wrap up the story.
So can someone explain what i just saw? Wasnt she with the witness trying to end all reality? And then she escaped the purge, and now shes good?
@@joekupec7893 I'm pretty sure she lefted the witness before the final shape, but lefted her house behind to the witness's control

Wasn't she forced to work with him?
I guess an improvement over Echoes
God I hated this season, Eido acted idiotic and Eramis got away with everything. (yes I'm calling it a season)
@@OldManEsteban even though it only updated for 3 weeks, I still like it better than echoes
