I like the Neo Vista for just locking into a pace. It definitely doesn't make sense as a speed shoe for you because you use really lightweight trainers as your daily trainers.
They just announced the Neo Zen this week (aka Mystery Shoe 01 at TRE this year). It's the Neo Vista with the plate removed, less weight, lower stack (40mm/34mm), lower cost, and a more bouncy foam (if initial impressions are to be believed, supposedly they use a nitrogen-infused TPU instead of EVA like the Vista). I think that will be the direct Novablast/SL EVO competitor, as the Zen is thought to be the more lively and faster trainer of the Neo line.
I use these solely for long runs. They work really well for anything up to Marathon pace for me.

Just ordered mine on 50% discount. Is it that bad when it comes to stone collecting? Will you consider them for fartlek(10k pace/easy pace)? thanks.
Certainly looks like a very big shoe... I think an interesting possible comparison might be vs the Novablast 5?

@@its1027 Yeah, I saw that one. Looks good. 40mm is more than enough for me...
