Can you do a Wide Foot Jarret popup feature, wherein, at some point in the video, a mini-Jarrett bobble head pops up from one of the corners and gives a thumbs up or shakes his head no?
Bought these EXACTLY because I loved the lunarepic! Why Nike stopped that shoe I'll never understand. It was so futuristic, 5 or so years later and FINALLY!
Intrigued by this one....since I don't really have much of a "pick up the pace" gear sounds like it would be fine at my speed. Only question would be the toe box width...I do prefer a wider fit. Sounds like this upper may stretch a bit to accommodate that....after a little break in.
If it has the same feeling of the SC Trainer V1, a little bit lighter, so it must be fantastic for I love a lot of cushioning! Can't wait to try them on! Great review, as always!
I got these early as well through my job at a local run shop. Couldn't agree more although i only have 2 runs for a total of 8 miles in them. I did think what Robbe in the first thoughts about being able to pick up the pace wasn't wrong though. I'm a bit of a smaller guy 5"4' 130 lbs so i feel the cush has a bit of an decompressing and giving me that pop. Don't get me wrong though i would not take it faster than marathon effort during a weekend long run.
Looks pretty good, but i wouldn't get them until the SC Trainer V3 comes out. It looks like 90% of elite V4, but more comfy. Also I have less knee pain with shoes that have less than 8mm drop. But the Mizuno looks really tempting as a replacement for my Nova4.
I love seeing you guys believe in the run podcast has become my favorite easy and recovery runs to listen to while running or doing any kind of yard work thanks you guys keep me laughing 😂
I wish New Balance wouldn't have listened to the reviewers who wanted a lighter shoe (or at least not lower the weight by lowereing the stack height) as the SC Trainer V2 was such a disappointment for me. As someone who loved V1 and didn't mind the weight since it wad an every day trainer for me it made my light weight ones feel even lighter. Additionally being taller and over 200 pounds having the extra stack height was really welcomed for long slow days. The V2 bottomed out quickly and felt for me, like a mushy marshmallow that impeded running vs helped. Hopefully V3 goes back to what made the V1 great. In the mean time looks like Skyward X or this Mizuno will fill the need! Thanks for the review!
This shoe looks pretty cool. I have the asics superblast currently, and theyre awesome. Looking to maybe try something different just to try it. Any recommendations? I was looking at these or maybe some NB.
I had the zoom fly flyknit, enjoyed if for 3 full marathon and training blocks, but once the flyknit stretched my feet kept sliding inside the shoe no matter how tight I laced it, kept getting blisters under toes and black nails, tried to mitigate it with more expensive socks until I realised it was the upper. React foam and outsole was still good, but can't do anything longer than 15k after that
@@Believeintherun i just got back from the city where i finally got to try the neo vista in the size 13 which is limit short for me and they were too small. For what they had in stock i finally end up with a Brooks Ghost 15 of last year in size 14. But damn the Mizuno was so nice to slip into and to lace and walk with, short for a brisk run tho. Well i have so much more to try but realize the size 13 seems shorter that it used to be. I find it very obvious with Asics nowadays, used to be perfect in length but no more, and 14 is way too big, so out of luck with the brand i used to love so much. Now nothing fits except the Nimbus 13.5. The curse to be in the half size when you wear 13.5 but rare as hell.
Whilst you gave it a green, the overall tone of the review was a bit downbeat compared to other reviews which have been completely blown away by the Neo Vista, many saying that it is great for picking up the pace and you could even do some races in it. Maybe Meg who likes max cush shoes might be a bit more blown away by it?
I love watching you guys and the laid back nature, but you guys can really inject some energy as it does feel quite tired. Like you guys filmed this after a night out? Love the content though, just some constructive feedback, wanting to see u guys become a million sub channel!

"Why do I want a plate for easy miles?" You don't but if it's flexible then no big deal. "Why do I want EVA for long days?" Why not? EVAs vary widely in how they feel underfoot. My Skechers GoTrail Ultras were just as protective and responsive (and a little more stable) as my Nike Invincibles. And the Neo is an EVA blend. "Why do I want Cush if I'm going to pick up the pace?" Doesn't seem to hurt Alphafly/Vaporfly/Dragonfly wearers!
What a shame! I was really excited about this sneaker because I always adapt well to this type of upper, but when we got to the midsole you said it was soft! Nothing more unfortunate than a soft midsole, which unfortunately has become almost a standard! It immediately reminded me of the New Balance Elite V3, with a very good upper in this style, but a terribly soft midsole. Impossible to get real performance. If this sneaker is similar, it's definitely not suitable for me.
@@davidrosenthal5795 I totally disagree! Firstly because Adidas sneakers, for example, which are much firmer than most, don't look like dinosaurs at all! And they are there every day winning and breaking records in most of the medium to long distance races, showing an above normal performance. Even Nike, perhaps the only one at the same level as Adidas, its Elite athletes opt for the Alpha Fly, which despite being heavier than the Vapor Fly Next, is much firmer, thanks to the air/gas sphere. Or because the majority of elite Assics athletes have chosen to run marathons (Boston was a good example) using the Edge Paris model (firmer) and not the Sky Paris? I could continue to cite other examples, but I believe it is unnecessary.

My Neo Vista arrived last night. I'm a big fan of the SC Trainer V1 and I'm going to try it for a progression run tomorrow and see how it compares.
Plz let us know
Please let us know! SC Trainer v1 is prob my fav shoe of all time.
Let us know. And where did you order like as a none reviewer that can get it so much earlier?

How is this shoe compare with superblast on very slow run and how much worse is the stability? How much more bounce of compare to SC elite v4?
Softer and less stable than the Superblast. SC Elite v4 has peba and is designed for racing. The Neo Is a daily trainer.
Didn't realise it used EVA, the margin they must be making with that price tag is insane
Could be a pretty complex process to make that EVA foam- might benefit be more than taking a branded PEBAX maybe?
I have one pair of another Mizuno shoe. The durability is excellent! Not sure if it's the same with this model. But durability is super important!
The Elixir and precision were pretty good.
glass fibers make the tpu stiffer.

Are the big guys running in the skyward also?
yeah, big dude chad is on the written review on the site
Skyward x is too heavy and muted per many reviews. And this neo Vista is way more fun. Some days more fun than sc trainer 1
How does it compare to the older Mizuno Wave Neo Ultra?

How would you compare its bounce, midsole's softness to that of Prime X Strung v1 please?
Prime X feels firm compared to the Neo Vista

Rarely comments on the length and toe fit while propulsion movement... sizing matter when we take the time to watch a review... please please
If we don’t go on about length it is because the shoe fits true to size. We mention when the fit is off.
