They never seem to mention the Atomic Veterans, and what they've gone through from their sicknesses from radiation. All of them got cancer, and were denied by the VA due to the operations being classified, they basically said their operations never happened. I forget who, I think Bill Clinton but could be wrong, finally fought to get the vets the compensation they were denied. For some it was too late.
The music for this documentary is great ! Would love to find all of the Lookout Mountain Laboratory archival music for these. This one especially and Operation Ivy. Operation Sandstone has some great music too.
@breakerten Do you still have the glasses? I am very interested in their history, I have read of many 'anti-flash' goggles but from what little I know your glasses were akin to welding glass, although differing somewhat from that simplistic comparison, right? Also have you written down your experience as a member? And may I ask, do you still keep in contact with fellow 3.4.2 Air Force members?
They talk so positively about this its really sickening. Remember the troops realised they were the test subjects too, by then it was too late though.

That’s what makes this so poignant today

The sound is very low, but thank you!
Awesome documentary ! The music soundtrack is awesome too ! Wish there was a better copy of the music or if it could be cleaned up and or enhanced
It would be nice if we could actually HEAR the soundtrack.....

The soundtrack needs to be cleaned up by a sound engineer.
