My man,,, you brought something back to life that should have been junked!!!!!!!!AMAZING work my friend!!!!!!!!!!! I am a huge fan of these Samurais, and have 2 already and 2 more coming that I am restoring, but they do NOT have rust like yours do!!!!!!!!! Thank the Samurai gods for that!!!!!!!!!!! Even without that rust problem,,, there's so much to do to make them whole again!!!!! You are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for saving these cars from extinction!!!!!!!!!
body and rust is not the issue but just expensive and lots of labor. the main thing to have these proper restored is to demolish till the last srew. fullt clean and rebuild it, replace non functional part, clean or paind remaining parts. replace rusted or damaged screws. make it relaible car with new suspention parts, brakes and barings, new tires and balanced. and to trust your engine let it be rebuild and replace fuelline with carborator. this sounds expencive and yeah it is, but this is safe and relaible, and will drive 5-10 years if done right. if it's not your profesion than let this one task for a profecional, you just work around it.

Part 2
Did you glue the floor and some of the body panels? If so, what glue did you use?
No I have not, I first tip welded the panels, some also the edge. and used marine silicone to fill the edges.
