Food prices are so high also in the U.S. so I started a little garden in the backyard. I rent so I’m growing in containers. This spring I will be growing some red habanero peppers because you only get the yellow ones where I live. Try growing a few pepper plants in your backyard to start.
Good luck with your growing peppers! There is such a wonderful feeling knowing the food comes from your own garden. Sisiyemmie has thrown pepper water outside from her window and grew peppers! I know her garden will flourish
I so much love this, thanks for taking me along your shopping, to be honest they are far much cheaper and look fresher than what is sold in my area Agege,Ogba and Iju ishaga
Please try mile 2, you will share with people and cheaper since you buy at large go early,so that you can return on time.because is far to we living in island,Get a eatry or petrol station to park.
Why do I feel like today's vlog was short 😂 because i was really enjoying the market scene and looking at all those fresh foodstuffs...things are expensive now, thank God for provision. Well-done sisi, Merry Christmas.
Food is very expensive now. I keep comparing to when i went to market in February/ March. A big baff of tomatoes was 4k. 2k rodo was soo much that i ate for months. Onions nko May God continually provide for us all.
Been a follower from tito was a baby 🎉 very longtime ma , anyway honestly in Jamaica my country we use usd and england pound and our own money let me tell u something honestly your market groceries are very cheap compare to here for $6500 means usd 4.20 equivalent to $700 here which would only give me 3lbs of tomato look at that huge basket anyway i am addicted to Nigerian meals like fried rice, jollof rice, chicken stew, egusi soup ,i cant get to try the other soups for the ingredients lack here no african store nor restaurant in reach,ah if only i had visa i would 100% enter naija to do market ooh and come back.i never ever missed not one of your vlogs if its even at mid night i watch on tv
It's different because of earning power, when comparing whether things are really cheap compared to where you are you need to factor in earning power. Might be cheaper for you but very expensive for people in Nigeria
SIsi, wch one be habanero inside market? 😜 The prices are a bit high for a market that is just at the border of Lagos sha. Almost same as Oyingbo market last Monday 16th Dec. Well done with your pricing though. 👍
Thanks, Sisi for the shopping post, it's quite exciting. I didn't know that market is Kara market. But what are the market days when things might be cheaper? For ordering cheaper products from the North, someone offered that already in the comment section. I'll team with you if we can connect with the person. Compliments!
Where I shop in Upstate New York(Prices differ from New York City), the plum tomatoes cost $1.99 a pound. A 2-pound bag of red onions is $3.99. Green bell peppers are $1.27 each. A 2-pound bag of many sweet peppers is $6.49. 1/2 pound bag of jalapeno peppers is $1.99. All that I mentioned are from a local grocery store but are not organic. If they were organic, then it might cost anywhere between $1 and $3 more. Depending on the conversion of your money versus US currency, the amount of each item you are buying might be cheaper than buying in the US. However, buying in places such as Costco where you can get such quantity(bulk), might be more cost-efficient than normal (local)grocery stores. I'm glad that you escaped the drama that was taking place so near where you were.😂😂
Hello Sisi yemmie, I stay in the north, and can help out with buying and delivering the good to Lagos, and you can get it at a very affordable price, Trust me you'll never regret it.
Sisi Yemmie pricing down the poor market guys but goes on to buy the same or similar products at trice the price at supermarkets without batting an eyelid!😅😅😅

My favorite type of vlogs ❤ Abeg, Sisiyemmie should have land where you have all of the crops for your families ❤
Love that vision!!😍
@ one doesn’t even need to wait on land. If you have vertical space and/or spare room/balcony that has sunny exposure, skies the limit ❤️
