I have two 2 Firman W01682 generators. They worked great with the Predator parallel kit. They also worked ok with the Generac G0068770 but the over load kicked on during syncing and the generator sputtered. I don't recommend using it.
I called Firman and they said there is no parallel kit required. The W01682 can be paralleled with the wires provided. The manual incorrectly states additional accessories are required. Firman is working on an update for their manual. Hope this helps. -AA

Your video's are a great tool for anyone doing research to purchase a generator. I have watched about half of yours so far. (trying to watch ALL of them) This one really hit hard for me. I saw this generator at a great price and was really struggling with if it was worth it. This is confirmation! It ran over the advertised output while holding the voltage at 119. Extremely impressive! I am pulling the trigger and grabbing it tonight. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into your video's. They are very informative and entertaining at the same time. Have a great day!

I bought two of these from Costco to run in parallel for my 30A camper. The price was right, the features were what I needed and I really liked that I didn’t need a parallel kit with these. Just the cables.
Runs my camper well, including AC. I went with the two 2,000 watt generators rather than one 3,000 watt because its easier to handle two smaller units. My AC is a 15,000 btu, so I was also a little worried the 3,000 watt wouldn’t handle startup.
The instructions with the unit were misleading for running it in parallel, but other than that I love these. Thanks for the review!

You give good and honest reviews...and I agree with your usage recommendation. I just picked up a Firman 3650/3300 so all my features of my T.T. can be used, including our 13,500 BTU Dometic A.C. Also, can handle the 10 house circuits I have wired into our Transfer Switch for Home Mains blackouts. I also recommend to all readers that one finds, and only uses in their generator, non-Ethanol fuel. In Canada (at least) Shell Premium is a totally Ethanol free fuel. I also dope each gas can with Stabil as well. As you recommend, I also run dry any of my garden, mower, snow blower, and our generator's fuel bowl dry, after last use for a period of storage. Firman brand is really getting a foot hold on portable invertor generators, for feature-to-price. We love our! I'd like to ask you to throw in a tape-measured 50 foot away test for DB's...and why at 50? That is the legal requirement to have any generator no more than 60 DB at a measured distance of 50 feet away for Federal BLM and Canadian Crown Land boondocking and most camping neighbors would be at least 50 feet away from your running generator, with 25 inside your campsite, and they sitting around 25 or so feet inside theirs. I think a 50 foot DB test will be immensely valuable to all your viewers!

You’re welcome! These generators a built to save gas and half the time you’re running the generator to power a refrigerator there’s no need to be off Eco mode and running it wide open. Plus in my opinion if you have to run your generator at 100% it’s time to upgrade

Gavin, great channel.!👍 Just watched 'Top 5 Inverter Generators' and this one. I hope you don't mind questions. I'm looking for a "Portable" generator 2000k to 2200k size. I want one that I can lift into the back of my truck when I go night fishing. I use two 1k watt flood lights in PAR-64 cans and maybe some other stuff once in awhile around the house (I'd considered duel-fuel). Anyway considering your last 6 portable generators or whichever, which would you most recommend.?

I don’t think anything happens to new generators if you run them out the box… funny enough I’ve done it 3 times since I use them for work. Literally opened it and filled it with gas,oil and had a trailer hooked up to 30amps. I risk it cause I know I can just switch it for another one. So yeah that’s my little experiment. I have a Firman for personal use with 250hrs I love how mobile this small inverters are.
