9a looks better than the rest of the 9 lineup. Not sure what I think about that bubble island look. It took me a while to get used to the camera visor of the pixels, but I've come to really like it. Now to see if I should upgrade to the 8a while I can before the visor goes the way of the buffalo.
Way too often. I'm personally doing it for the preorder deals, but I'll probably stop upgrading once I have the pixel 11 or 12....after that Ill upgrade every 2 years
I think it looks soooooooo much better, even if its an iPhone 4 rip off. If Google offered more than just 3 years of security updates, I'd still be using my Pixel 4a. These days, I'm not sure where to turn. Google has been making some really assine product decisions this past decade, and I'm just not willing to give Google yet another chance at this point. I think the next Samsung flagship I'll grab; not my favourite software, but a safe bet. I fear how much Google is going to be pushing Gemini with their next pixel roll out, and I want to stand faaaaaaaaaaar clear of that disaster.
I still have my Pixel 5a I just turned on after 3 years and it is still takes awesome pics and run smoothly if I can't get the pixel 9 pro I surely will just got ahead and get the Pixel 9a
Would be cool if they have a mostly matte back but have a Pixel 9 camera bar shaped un-matted portion surrounding the camera module to keep the family esthetic. 🤙✌️👍
I hate camera bumps so it looks great to me. What it will mean to camera quality remains to be seen, of course. I do appreciate that Google makes the effort to negate "table wobble" with their camera bumps unlike Samsung and Apple.
It wouldn't make any sense for Google to assassinate its own brand identity unless this phone is intentionally being segregated from the mainstream Pixel lineup to help differentiate it from the standard Pixel (non-pro).
Getting OnePlus X and Essential PH1 vibes.
9a lookin' slick!

9a reminds me of the essential ph1 phone. Love that phone.
Is yearly too often for update cycles?

Without the visor looks super clean love it

Iphone se 4 OR Pixel 9a ?
SE 4 for sure especially if choose StraightTalk or Metro.

I want to know which ones are not made in China. I got the pixel 9 pro Max and the box says it's made in China.
The Pixel 9a modem is a deal-breaker.
Hope they put a good screen on the 'a this time...

If it is going to be flat on the back like on render - I am going to buy it and switch from apple 😊
I would guess it would be $499 too
All phones are going to sooner or later look the same
