I was born in Lyallpur and can relate to the narrative of the video as my family migrated from Chak JB 27 (Waddi 27) to Ferozepur, then moved to Delhi to Patiala to Jalandhar and now finally to Canada. My Grand mother and mother never accepted our new village in India their own and always talked about Chak 27, Lyallpur Lahore and Gujranwala. My mother was born and raised in Gujranwala and after marriage she lived in Chak 27 and Lyallpur with the family before the partition. May Waheguru, Allah, God bless all the departed souls on both sides of the divide who suffered for this unfortunate event in the history of Punjab. Jithay we raho jeonde wasde raho. My father(as a lad those times)with my granddad/and families during the partition, migrate to Gujranwala, before ultimately settled in Indonesia, where i was brought up.
