- Ali Ahmad Naru was born in the village of Patti, District Hoshiarpur. The nearby villages of Patti are Bohan, Bajrawar, Harmoyan, Salempur, etc.
Muslim Naru Rajputs were in majority in this village before 1947.
Baba ji tells the story of migration at the time of the India-Pakistan partition.

Bujurgo , I too from v.Bari Bassi Bathula Hoshiarpur. A small village near Bathula a Samaspur was there . My father along with some more helped this Samaspur village pathan in going to Jahankhalian Camp as father was having friendship with a man named Phagal of Samaspur . My father and that Phajal were very close friend .Sarpanch Bathula kashmir Singh .v. Bathula .near Bari Bassi kalan .
