There were criminal minded individuals on both sides who committed heinous crimes against innocent people including children. But at the same time there angelic minded noble soules who protected and in some cases looked after the innocents.
There is an open question as a food for thought for us... ... What those criminal minded people achieved and what are lessons we learnt from those true and traumatic episodes. Are we all not cursing those regardless Muslims or Sikhs who committed those atrocities? Are we not admiring those who showed mercy and kindness?
Please let us spread peace, harmony, affection and brotherhood in whole Punjab, the land of wise Sufis and Gurus or holymen of all religions.

A person saudagar singh also known as B.A village lidhar was killed while making peace between fighting people on14 August 1947.his dead body was not found.
