  • I know we’ve all heard of Castor oil but does it actually work?? I did 30 Days of Castor Oil for Eyebrow Growth and this is what happened!!
Also, in the video where I checked in at night you’ll see my skin is a different colour and that’s because I used The Ordinary Sea-Buckthorn Fruit Oil (little yellow/orange, oops).
    Products Mentioned
Jamaican Black Castor Oil - I bought from this company but don’t see it on the site -elisbodyshop.com

Personally I can confirm that for me caster oil really did wonders for my eyebrows. I use to have sperm cells for brows about two years ago, and could literally never grow them back no matter what I did until I started giving jamaican black caster oil a go. It took me a few months to get big results but honestly If you're looking to thicken, darken and strengthen your brows than this is good for you x

hey! maybe make a grande serum in a dropper bottle and use that for the brows!!:
    - castor oil - 2 parts
    - olive oil - 2 parts
    - coconut oil - 2 parts
    - vitamin e oil - 2parts
    - and minoxidil/rogaine (men's hair regrowth serum) - 1tbsp
    for eyelashes:
    - use the above but NO MINOXIDIL/ROGAINE
if you like something that's already formulated - then try the Rimmel lash accelerator serum!!!!
    - massaging the oil in is really important to stimulate blood flow and hence nutrient deposition into the hair follicle BUT beware for these products a white cast/film develops so if you're super conscious use these products overnight!

99% people don’t know how castor oil work and how to use. Let me explain 👉 get organic Jamaican black castor oil Before sleep you must Massage 5-7 minutes on your eyebrows massaging outward. Do not massage in circles. While massaging it’s gono heat up the skin and oil will reach to roots Then leave it overnight. This is not a quick fix it takes 2-3 months to give you good results. Also you must take vitamin D everyday because deficiency of Vitamin D don’t let eyebrows grow properly. Good diet and drinking enough water will help. For more information ask any questions.

from what i've been told by hair stylists and waxers, you're born with all the hair follicles that you can ever have, so if you were born with thin eyebrows/not a lot of hair, you can't grow new follicles, only thicken the hair that grows out of what you already have which i guess is what the castor oil helps with. so people who've had thick eyebrows and lost the thickness or see that some hairs aren't growing i think are the ones that see the best results. some waxes have hair minimizing ingredients in them, so over time the hair will stop growing, and the oil will help restore them, but again, you can't grow new hair follicles.

Hair can change with hormones. A younger female doesn't have hair on her upper lip but as she gets older she may develop it. Men's facial hair grows in over quite a long time as well. So what I'm saying is I'm not sure about the hair follicle being a finite number that you're born with.

I'm a guy in my 50s and I used to have good thick eyebrows and over the years the outer edges fell out. I didn't want to do anything drastic like tattoo or Bosley (they charge $5K!! for eyebrows! and it grows like normal hair, so you have to trim them for the rest of your life). A female friend said to try castor oil. I have been using it for less than 3 weeks and it is working. There is a lot of new growth of the areas that just fell out over time. I'm going to keep using it. I put it on with a Q tip after dinner and it is working for me.

I always had amazing eyebrows and only had a gap in my left brow. I started using castor oil on my brows during the last 6 months of wfh. I would use it multiple times and put some eyebrow make-up on top. In 6 months, I have noticed quite a lot of thinning of my eyebrows. I could not figure it out so I read up in a lot of places to understand castor oil is the reason. I immediately stopped applying it for the past two weeks and I am applying Generic Glucoma medication which my Gp suggested once a day(essentially Latisse). In 2 weeks I have loads of baby hair growing on both brows. I don’t know if it is because the brows are finally not covered with castor oil and can grow out or because of Latisse. Be careful to not overuse castor oil, maybe mix with some lighter oil and only apply once/overnight and wash off in the morning.

@@MayraDairyFree I read mixing/diluting it with 1:1 coconut oil or vitamin E oil will actually prevent your hairs from falling off. The reason why there's a risk in the first place is because our skin doesn't absorb castor oil so it sits and dries up on the surface. I haven't tried it yet but since I recently moved to a colder state (cold makes skin dry up quicker) I'm not applying castor oil until I buy some coconut oil.

Is this just for regrowth (like say if you accidentally shaved them off) or can it work if you naturally have thin eyebrows (mine are almost invisible towards the start so it makes my eyebrows looks a bit wide apart) ?

    • @VirgosAlchemy

The video says that she was born without brows, and that is why she did this, but also said that she feels it would work even better for people who are just trying to regrow. I have very light and thin brows naturally, and I've been using castor oil for a few days so far, so it would not hurt to just try it. It's only a couple bucks for a small bottle of it, so all we are out is a couple bucks and a couple minutes a day if it doesn't work.

I have been using it for 6 months and nothing, and I haven't plucked in over ten years. Its so weird too because I have super thick hair on my head. I have noticed its making light blonde hairs grow but my brows are black/dark brown. Any tips? I just switched to vitamin e oil. Hoping that works

I have a lot of very thick hair as well but no eyebrows. I used black Jamaican castor oil and it's been working. I don't have a full brow but some hair have gotten a lot thicker.
