My dad Robert Taylor created Goof Troop as well as produced/directed almost all the Disney afternoon cartoons. We got a copy of the snes game before it was released for free and I was glad to see it was actually a good game. I still have that game we got gratis from capcom.
In "The Warriors" you can hold up to 9 cans of spray at a time. You can also beat up the spray dealers to get a free can of spray. The dealers are tougher than average fighters though so be careful.

I Have never watched the game chasers but about a year ago every time I started to type GameSack into youtube it would bring up Game chasers. How dare youtube think I would watch anything other than Gamesack.
You can unlock a mode in the " Warriors " that turns it into a completely new game, a side scroller like double dragon.. so you basically get 2 games for the price of one
Transformers is now delisted for PC and from the digital console stores. If you want it and why wouldn't you, you go physical. Best get it before the price gets silly.
I just gotta mention Gundam Wing Endless Duel for the Super Famicom, that's one of my favourite fighting games, truly arcade-quality fighting on the SNES, and one of the best fighters of that whole generation! It's also got a spectacular soundtrack, as you'd expect from Natsume.
That was a different game, it ran on the same engine, but it didn't play quite the same, nor did it run quite as smoothly, so it kinda pales in comparison to GWED...
Pretty sure it was a PS Plus game quite a while ago. I thought it was fun but definitely a little rinse and repeat. Not uncommon for the genre but playing in the Transformer universe with the transformation abilities kept it fun for me.

Knocked out of the park with these games. Great selections from start to finish. Nice to see Blazing Dragons get some love. Easily one of the highlights from the PS1 and Saturn libraries. Unfortunately the game had reviews all over the place at the time of release so it got wrongly overlooked. If you like adventure games then it's highly recommended. Keep up the great show. Still the best on TH-cam.
Everything about Blazing Dragons screams 90's PC point-and-click adventure (even the music is clearly General MIDI adapted to Playstation sound chip). I am surprised the PC version hasn't come out at all. I think, the main reason why this gem of a game was overlooked is that Sony Playstation (and Sega Saturn) didn't have enough audience appreciating this sort of slow-paced, puzzle-focused, humorous story and dialogues-driven games, by that time even on PC the interest in the genre started to decline, although on PC the game would have probably done better.
Love that New Ghostbusters II is in here. I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere in the comments, but Ghostbusters II on the Game Boy (which did come here) is basically a port of the Famicom game.
Man, I miss Dave in the later episodes. No knock on Joe, he's fantastic, too, and I'm glad he's keeping the great content coming. But seeing the two of them together is a real treat on old episodes like this.
I don't miss Dave's wooden, run on sentence script reading lol. I started with newer episodes and am working my way backwards, wondering when Dave will grow on me lol
the downside of transformers devastation though was that only the autobots were playable, and the decepticons were simply left as enemies. i personally liked stick of truth over fractured though, probably because i like a simple turn based rpg over a grid based rpg

I was so frustrated when AVGN didnt even mention the best Ghostbusters game during his famous Ghostbusters game review series back then. Im not from america and here we were getting all games released on NES including japan only ones. Everybody was playing this version of ghostbusters when i was in school. Before the internet i was pretty sure this was a popular ghostbusters game.
He actually did cover it but it was a completely separate video from AVGN and wasn't really promoted on his channel in any way. More of an afterthought. Smh.

Dunno why, but when i hear the outro music i always feel nostalgic over something that i legit can't describe, and when the fucking outro music can make me and many others like this you know you did a great job in the rest of the show.
One of the best TV show games I've ever played was the Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law game. It was a joint effort between [adult swim] and Capcom and so it's basically if the Harvey Birdman cartoon played like Ace Attorney. The humor, voice acting, and animation are all perfect, and the ONLY downside is that the game is pretty short, but it's still one of the better licensed games I've played.
Weird theory: Bumblebee in Transformers: Devastation may have started out as Cliffjumper, but was palette swapped when the devs realized that Casey Kasem was not going to be available to record.
Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue and Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay need to be mentioned as well. And maybe X2: Wolverine's Revenge and X-Men Origins: Wolverine?

The best 8th Generation game I've played based on a film or TV show and was actually good is "Mad Max." One of the best $5 bargain bin games I've ever had along with "Valkyria Chronicles" (PS3) and "Sonic CD" (Sega CD).
I'm not sure if they talked about DuckTales Remastered already, but I think that it's pretty good! Whether you're playing on 360, PS3, Wii U or PC, it's s game that has to be played. I haven't played the original, but I'm sure that Capcom and Disney made an excellent decision to sign on WayForward. The music is amazing, the graphics are awesome and the voice lines, while repetitive at times, are a welcome addition. They even brought back most of the voice actors from the show! It's kinda short, with maybe 7 or 8 levels, but it makes up for that with a ton of replay value and stuff to unlock. To top it off, it's pretty cheap! It usually costs around $20, but I picked it up from the eShop for under $5. All in all, I highly recommend it if you're a fan of the original or if you're looking for a fun challenge.

You really should play Stick of Truth. It has a more traditional RPG battle system. I prefer Stick of Truth over Fractured But Whole, but both games are good.
Licensed games can be a lot of fun. For me, The ones that come to mind are: 1. The Godfather game. If you like GTA this is a no brainer, it even has some stuff that GTA lacks. 2. Scarface: The World is Yours. Also recommended for GTA fans. 3. Harry Potter for the PS1 (1st one). A solid little 3D platformer with tons of charm. 4. Yu-Gi-Oh Forbbiden Memories. I don't even like card games but this one is simple yet super addictive! 5. 007: Nightfire. For me this is one of the best, if not the best James Bond game.
The Warriors game also has a bonus side scrolling Double Dragon style game once completed called Armies of the Night. This game has 5 levels and is as awesome.
Yay, New Ghostbusters II! With the music, because it's a PAL game, I noticed the music might be playing a little too fast when running through an NTSC system, so the tracks may not be as recognisable. Apart from the main theme, the Subway, River of Slime, and final stage have 8-bit renditions of tracks straight from the movie. It's definitely worth a listen.

The Warriors was AMAZING. The tone was so good. Perfectly encapsulates the movie.

GI Joe has 3 really good games that I've played. One in the arcade (that never got a home port) and two for the NES. All of them are outstanding.

Give it another go. It really is a fantastic game once the combat clicks! Transformation combos are a hugely important part of the combat.

You really should play Stick of Truth. It has a more traditional RPG battle system. I prefer Stick of Truth over Fractured But Whole, but both games are good.
Licensed games can be a lot of fun. For me, The ones that come to mind are:
1. The Godfather game. If you like GTA this is a no brainer, it even has some stuff that GTA lacks.
2. Scarface: The World is Yours. Also recommended for GTA fans.
3. Harry Potter for the PS1 (1st one). A solid little 3D platformer with tons of charm.
4. Yu-Gi-Oh Forbbiden Memories. I don't even like card games but this one is simple yet super addictive!
5. 007: Nightfire. For me this is one of the best, if not the best James Bond game.
The Warriors game also has a bonus side scrolling Double Dragon style game once completed called Armies of the Night. This game has 5 levels and is as awesome.
Blazing dragons on the Saturn was a last to play growing up. Played it again last year and it was just as much fun.
I hate the South Park show, but the stick of truth is actually fun and had even had me chuckling while playing. The sequel was also fun

Yay, New Ghostbusters II! With the music, because it's a PAL game, I noticed the music might be playing a little too fast when running through an NTSC system, so the tracks may not be as recognisable. Apart from the main theme, the Subway, River of Slime, and final stage have 8-bit renditions of tracks straight from the movie. It's definitely worth a listen.
Great episode! Can’t wait for the follow up. I just hate waiting 2 weeks!
