I have been using Litchi Mission Hub for 18 months now, on my P3A, P4, and now my Mavic. Although I now have a good grasp of how to formulate a safe and fluid mission, I will say that your Waypoint mission tutorials are outstanding, I just wish they were published 2 years ago.
Wow Thank you very much! Great videos. I am a little late to the party with my mini but am excited to use the app that I just downloaded. I was wondering when the mission is underway besides changing the camera do the sticks do anything if you touch them? Also if you want to abort the mission and take over how would you do that on iPhone ? Thank you Robert
Hey nice video, thank you for going over the one thing that I have noticed when flying a long mission when you lose radio signal that the quad slows down to the lowest speed that the waypoint with the lowest speed was programmed too.. or the cruising speed which is kind of scary .
Very nice video, well explained how Waypoints work with Litchi app for DJI Drones. Quick question, when you fly Waypoints mission with Litchi app, does the telemetry data / flight data show on the live video feed from the drone? If yes then is there a way to get rid of it? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work!
I do not believe so - no. Anytime you make a waypoint mission where you are going to be going out of signal range, you ARE taking the risk of losing the quad. The only thing you can do is mitigate the risk by ensuring your settings are right and the mission programmed correctly. I know you can break off a waypoint mission by sending your own RTH signal (tested only on P3-A and Mavic) but obviously if you're out of signal range the copter won't pick up the command. I have not tested if it returns at low battery levels myself, but I would think it would continue running the mission. Either way thanks for watching and apologies I could not be of more help.
I don't think so. If you want the map data then yes, but you will have limited functionality regardless. GPS functions that utilize the device such as 'Follow Me' will still function. You just won't see the map.
By default I believe the mission will continue when signal drops out. That is why many people prefer/use Litchi's waypoint functions over DJI Go. It allows them to automate a path and such for the quad even if it goes outside of its normal operating range.
You'd have to bring up the android controls by swiping up from the bottom, but I agree that when Litchi/DJI Go demands the whole screen it can be a pain to actually make said controls appear. I think there is an option in Android that keeps them always up and just shrinks whatever you are looking at.
Your videos have been invaluable to me as I slowly tread through the learning curve for me and Litchi. It is a great app and you are doing a great job. Thanks for your meticulous inclusion of all steps involved in each application, for example, the use of arrows to point out each step. It was confusing in the beginning to see all the Litchi TH-cam tutorials only to find that they were demonstrating the IOS version and not Android. There are quite a few differences. I'm going to create a playlist for TH-cams like yours exclusively for Android users. Again, please keep up the good work for us newbys. Thanks Husky Flies! My first attempt at a TH-cam upload. Not happy with quality, the raw file is much cleaner. I guess video post editing is another challenge to tackle. th-cam.com/video/-meU7RFhXdo/w-d-xo.html
Wow! Thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate them and I am happy this has helped you. I hope I may continue to help throughout your learning experience. Thanks for taking the time to watch and I hope you fly safe. :) Also on a side note: YT Compression can be a real pain when it comes to getting decent HQ vids up here. :/

Still the best on youtube. Changing Canadian drone regulations currently leave me pretty much grounded.
Sorry to hear that. I have heard things are pretty crazy in Canada. Thanks for watching though man and I hope things turn around on that stuff.
Excellent! Thank you very much.

It can certainly mess you up really hard and cause you to lose the drone. Thanks for watching. :)

Hey, is there a way to automatically take pictures secuentially to upload to a system like ODM for modelling or telemetry?
Great series. Thank you. Question.... so if you make a waypoint mission and the craft runs low on battery, it won't activate rth?

What happens if you don't have enough battery for the mission will it return to home when it realises
With my tablet .i have a tab 8..+
Do i need to have a sim card?

Also. If the signal is lost, is there a way to continue the mission anyway?

Works on android or windows? I come a little lost with the subtitils, I will work with the dji inspire 1? :)
Ahh is paid, well I'll see if I can buy it when I finish paying the dron XD
Should work on Android and Windows as well as with the Inspire 1. Thanks for watching. :)
Great Video, I have the k1 also and litchi fills the whole, screen, I have a dumb question, how do yo exit the app?

Found the option but it makes little difference so only option really is to swipe up from bottom. :(
thanks!
Will look,. maybe my swiper is malfunctioning! Thanks!
Gotit!!!It was a swiper malfunction!
My heading mode does not have the option Toward next waypoint. A bit of a let down.

It's doesn't matter....
Dji is the same...Litchi is way better.
Depends on what you're using it for.
