I saw Chris, Zach Bryan, and Willie all together a couple years back. I hadnt heard of Chris or Zach, I was just there for Willie. I was absolutely blown away by those two after.

Willies picking style ,and the sound of trigger is what sold me on country music at 14 ,oh yeah there was this Merle Haggard guy also 😂❤ I’m 62 now 👍
That's my story too and I'm exactly half your age. The story repeats itself through great music. My father gave me 3 double CD's of classic country music as a present when I was a child and didn't even understand English. But I felt it. And Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain was one of the songs that got me to love country and it's been my core genre ever since. Since then my heart has always been partly American (music, (western) movies, literature) and some day in the next years, if my journey to write western novels is as successful as I hope and I'll find an American publisher, I'll fly over and see all the artists who continue the classic and outlaw country legacy in concert. Maybe even Willie Nelson or Kris Kristofferson, we'll see.

from wat i heared his guitar started out as a martin acoustic and the piezo (and bridgepiece ?) gotted added to it from his former baldwin 800C Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar model with a Prismatone pickup that gotten damaged in 1969

Saw Chris, Willie, and Jamey Johnson at the globe in Arlington. Terrible venue for a concert bc the echo was brutal but all 3 gentlemen put on INCREDIBLE shows.

As a kid, after learning on an electric strat, I had begged my dad to get me an acoustic guitar for Christmas because I was a singer and needed one. He bought me the same guitar that Willie uses and being the dumb kid I was, I was disappointed and didn't understand why he chose that one. I never complained or anything but now I look back on that memory fondly.

Willie's first wife sewed him up in a blanket when he was passed out drunk and beat the hell out of him with that guitar and he has been playing it ever since
I don't know for sure because I wasn't there, Chris stapleton definitely is a man to believe, But I'd heard a different story about how willie found trigger, Maybe I'll go with it and see what it sayes.I know what's up older than sixty nine I think it's closer to the late forties martin guitar, I could be wrong.I'm definitely open for comments or I.Suggestions

This story is totally incorrect. The pickup and amp is off a Baldwin guitar. His baldwin got destroyed by a drunk and his crew built that one. There is an awesome video series about it on stewmacs you tube.
