Hey Charliegirl. I am learning so much about Arkansas from your channel. The plunge pool that disappeared underground, we have the same exact thing all over the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. It's because of the limestone karst that dominates the underground landscape around here. I assume it's the same thing there. Waterfalls or creeks can just disappear underground and they may reappear downstream or they may not. If you're a caver as well, like I am, you can follow some of your favorite above ground creeks into cave sinks and along their underground passageways until they disappear down a deep pit or reemerge above ground. Crazy. Paradise Falls is beautiful. Be safe and God bless.
@preacher1511 I see this all the time on the trails here in AR, where the water just disappears but I never knew why! Thanks so much for the information! Thanks for watching 🤗
@@charliegirlhikes Your vids are good. I will watch and follow your journey. 👋 I just spent a night in a bothy (old farm house) people camp in them for free, they have a wood burner and that's it. No signal for miles.😁
@JamieHarding5 wow you are in Wales, that is so cool. I'm going to have to check out your videos! A bothy, never heard of that term but sounds awesome! Thanks so much for being here. Happy Trails ✌️
@SmokyTwilight we were out there for 3.5 hours but we explored the waterfalls, took our time, and took a long break at Paradise Falls, could have stayed out even longer actually but we had another trail to hike. If you just headed to the falls and didn't take excessive pics and videos, you could probably do this entire hike under 2 hours. There is a lot to see! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Thank you for sharing! So Beautiful ❤️
@randylancaster5510, you are welcome. Thanks for watching 😊
