Two weeks ago, we did the whole BSA trail. BSA includes 99% of the Cedar Creek trail. We LOVED it. We've been going to Petit Jean for years and had never hiked the Cedar Creek trail. I think we somehow got it mixed up with the Cedar Falls trail and didn't realize they are different.
Interesting to know that the bridge was out 6 months ago. We were there in December of 2024 and it was still out. We were able to rock hop across like you guys did. Trekking poles help. Haha.
Doing the BSA Trail really opens up new options for connecting different trails in combination because the BSA links almost all the other trails around the park. Example, instead of doubling back on the Canyon trail, you can take the BSA up and out of the canyon toward Seven Hollows. You could go right when you get to Seven Hollows and do the majority of that trail, or you can go left at the junction and just go to the Seven Hollows trailhead, then across the parking to continue the BSA trail, across the road to Bear Cave, and then from Bear Cave back to Mather.
We had also neglected the Bear Cave trail because it's so short, but as short as it is, it has some great scenery and views and really cool rock formations. All of the Petit Jean trails are worth doing.

@rungavagairun YES it's so cool how the BSA trail goes throughout the park. It's a great trail! I agree, all the trails at Petit Jean are beautiful!

I’m from Springdale Arkansas and only got to hike at the Devil’s Den Trails when I get a chance but it is way too hot right now ✌🏽
