    Operator knew what he was doing.... Used the weight of his equipment to leverage the other machine out... Nicely done.

    Got it. The power and traction of the skidder doing the towing is unbelievable

    I'm from the area. Someone got the bright idea to take an ice shack off the lake with the John Deere. Well the ice didn't hold and it sunk. The tires are locked up cause the water was froze in everything so it was dead weight dragging it out.

    OK, rule of thumb here in Maine? 10 inches is enough for a pickup but i like 14 and seeing an average of 22 inches of ice per year, sometimes 18 or even 27 Just exactly how much does it take to hold up a skidder ?

    I’ve heard that if the engine isn’t running on a John Deere there is absolutely no way to release the parking brake. This looks like the case here.

    • @jdatwood7086
      @jdatwood7086 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brake pack is hydraulically released and spring applied (fail safe) but there is a couple holes for bolts to thread in and release the clutch pack in the brake.
