The first time I found out they'd made a series on TV I went crazy. I'd been picturing Harry Bosch for years. They hit a grand slam with this one. It's a great show with great actors. Thanks MC for writing such great stories.
He is just *SO* incredibly intelligent. It oozes off of him. You can tell he has a lot going on in his mind , intellectually. He's a kick-ass artist \painter, if you didn't know.
This is the absolute best Christopher Walken I have ever heard. Most people do more of a caricature, even the good ones. If I had my eyes closed, I'd never know this wasn't The Walken.
I've never watched this show but avidly read all of the Harry Bosch books (plus his half brother's appearances) and they are fabulous. The drawback is that as soon as they come out, I'm finished in two days. They've introduced a female detective to continue on since Harry's retired. You used to be able to call a number and get a recording of Harry telling you to leave a message. Michael Connelly is the best author since Michael Creighton died.
I can relate alot to his story. My brother and I also grew up in a tough neighborhood. Those of you who also did know that fights start for the DUMBEST of reasons - you sneeze and someone would go "You talking to me?" Ridiculous. Whereas my brother ALWAYS fought, I learned the art of talking my way out of fights. Thats where I developed my comedy and diplomatic skills. I was able to turn people who literally wanted to beat me to a pulp into "You know what man, you are alright". Thats whats great being kids - you didnt see race. I look back and Im like "Man, I was the only white kid on that block" but back then we didnt see color - you were either a tough guy, a punk, or "alright". Thank God I was labeled as "alright" LOL.
Scratch a great actor, you'll find an impressionist. Scratch an impressionist, and you'll sometimes find a great actor. Scratch a Sealyham Terrier, he'll be very grateful.
Jim Meskimen you were right. I think Christopher Walken might actually be the mist imitated person on planet Earth. The people I've seen do impressions of him are endless.
I had the privilege to play his body double in a made for tv movie that was filmed partially in northern Ontario. This was back in the mid to late nineties. A movie called Mind Prey.
Bosch is an average size guy so that's not so difficult. But Jack Reacher (the main character in the rival Jack Reacher book series) is described in every chapter of every book as being 6'5" and 250 lbs. But he's played by Tom Cruise who is more like 5'6" not 6'5". This is one of many reasons why Connelly's Bosch books are so much better than Lee Child's Jack Reacher books. Plausibility and verisimilitude.
both of my grandparents read the bosch books. a decent amount of the people they chose to play a role from a book don’t emulate the character. my grandparents and i think titus was a fantastic choice. my grandma just reread a bosch book and loved imagining titus as harry
Watched Bosch season 6 recently, then pretended to myself that I didn't watch season 5 so I watched it, then 4, and so I eventually rewatched all seasons in reverse order😅
The last few minutes with riddle me this had me in years. This guy makes the scene, hemakes the story. I loved him in Deadwood, Bosch, Gone Baby. First time was in The Good Wife and I have been seeking him from there. Painting is hard and he's good at that as well? Amazing guy! Where can I find Sons of Anarchy?
Such a pity that many have no idea who this guy is. He's an incredible talent, unlike many of the "A" listers we have to suffer through. Take Markey Mark for example.
I've loved this guy for 30 years. He's done some great, great stuff. The fact that he's a master impressionist just makes him cooler. Though he calls weed "grass", I'll allow it. He had a bit part in Navy SEALS as a dick in a bar and a great role as Sipowicz' doctor on NYPD Blue.
There was a scene in the show Big Apple where Welliver is being interrogated and he does a scene from the Deer Hunter between DeNiro and Walken. Incredible. I've looked for it on YT but could never find it.
really? no disrespect to the man, but that is probably the worst irish accent i have ever heard. it put me off watching bosch for years. glad i finally saw it. brilliant.
@@SimonKenyon Even he's said he should have prepared for it better, but that the role was just sort of thrust on him too suddenly, with not enough lead time.
Yeah, it made me sick when Bill Burr censored that title on Snoop Dogg’s podcast. Burr is the least racist guy in the business and he’s married to a black girl. If anyone should feel comfortable with that word it’s Bill. Yet he still pandered to the PC police.
Titus Weaver is one of the greatest character actors in the world. Also one of my favorites Bosch is an absolutely fantastic series with great acting from Titus great writing from Michael the cast and crew is just amazing. And the best of all the grade is actor Coltrane Coltrane is a God!! And Titus Weaver's pretty great too God bless mr. Weaver. Thank you "TITUS"🤟🤟🤟👍

Huge Titus Welliver/Bosch fan. He's brilliant.
The first time I found out they'd made a series on TV I went crazy. I'd been picturing Harry Bosch for years. They hit a grand slam with this one. It's a great show with great actors. Thanks MC for writing such great stories.
In the same way I cannot imagine anyone else but Gandolfini as Tony Soprano, I cannot imagine anybody else but Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch.
Big fan of the books big fan of the show. He nails Bosch.
Bosch does a good job pretending to be Titus.
He is just *SO* incredibly intelligent. It oozes off of him. You can tell he has a lot going on in his mind , intellectually. He's a kick-ass artist \painter, if you didn't know.
Titus has the most marvellous voice x
YESSS. This is so good. I love Titus, and I love Bosch, so this is awesome. Looking forward to the rest!
Great Bosch. I was so happy when they created that series with him.
Thanks to youtube, I've heard a lot of Walken's, but this guy nails it.
This is the absolute best Christopher Walken I have ever heard. Most people do more of a caricature, even the good ones. If I had my eyes closed, I'd never know this wasn't The Walken.
Nobody on earth does walken impression better than Kevin pollack
Love Bosch , Favourite Amazon show by far if they kept making them I would keep watching them forever. Titus just seems perfect for the character.
That sounded more like Walken than Walken! Remarkable impression. Welliver is an amazing talent.
I just started watching BOSCH...and love it!!! Watched seasons 1, 2, and 3...Just started season 4....That's a great impression of Walken!
Always loved Titus Welliver. In all he do was perfect. Can't wait the second season of "BOSCH".

Lol, I like titus welliver. Seems like a down to earth guy
He’s wearing his braided “friendship” bracelet. I know he’s a tremendously talented actor--but this is new to me. Wow! So impressed.
I love how he said the Pryor title without dumbing it down. He pronounced it as it was. Much respect
YES! I LOVE HIM!

Now I gotta find this album. love these interviews.
Hilarious - makes me LOL 7 years after this was recorded. Bravo!
Bosch is a good show
Really nice guy!!! Met him a few times. My Goddaughter goes to school with his kids and he was really col at all of the school events. Good guy.
That impression though!! 🔥
When is he getting his Emmy?
That was a hard R.
Currently watching season 4 and I noticed he wears the same wrist band even off the show... interesting
Titus is great, always played a good wise guy, now he plays a good cop..!!
Underrated actor.!!
Wow, that was brilliant. Love Titus Welliver anyway, but those impressions are superb!
Titus Welliver, one of the most underrated actors of all time, this man is a genius.
Titus Welliver fucking ROCKS!!
Have always enjoyed Welliver.
Watched Bosch season 6 recently, then pretended to myself that I didn't watch season 5 so I watched it, then 4, and so I eventually rewatched all seasons in reverse order😅
I first saw Welliver as a guest star on 'Star Trek: Voyager' and I realized the potential that he had then.
if you want to get to the impression of Walken, skip the b.s and go here 4:25
I abso-fucking-lutely love Titus Welliver!
He is the absolute best. Just great.
Titus is one of the most underrated actors around.
I recently saw an old Law & Order SVU episode with a very young Titus Welliver. Probably, 20-25 years ago. He’s only gotten better looking!
3:45 4:28 5:03 Christopher Walken Impression
Love this guy~!!! Perfect Walken~!
Love this black and white presentation, and Titus is just the bomb.

"Riddle me this....." pure class!
He is SO cool.
Love Bosch!!! Great impression of Christopher Walken!
Effortless Walken. Top shelf
I did the same with Richard Pryor Greatest Hits....kept me alive in a black neighborhood....
He really is a great actor. He did a great bad guy on Sons of Anarchy!
*I remember Titus as Kyle Hollis in Life back in 2007/8 - he was in 2 episodes and to this day, that performance is incredible.*
The same Life that starred Damian Lewis? That was a great show.
@@thebronzetoo - Absolutely man, Damian Lewis was killer in that series.
He said 'pick up envelopes, drop off envelopes'. Also, he said ' all I know is that some of that money got washed through that bar'.
I first saw Titus in Darkness Falls, a Season 1 episode of the X-Files from early 1994.
Titus is fucking awesome. Bosch is such a great show.
"I don't need heart. I need goddamn brains!"
Amazing actor!
It's not a bad Walken, more understated than most. Even so, everyone does this impression.
There was a scene in the show Big Apple where Welliver is being interrogated and he does a scene from the Deer Hunter between DeNiro and Walken. Incredible. I've looked for it on YT but could never find it.

Interesting to see he's wearing that white bracelet that Bosch (and Maddie) wears in the TV show ...

Loved the Michael Connelly books and Titus is Bosch for me. Exactly as I imagined him.

Thank God he didn't call Pryor's album "That N-word's crazy!"

No warning when he's going to start the impression, when he did, I was confused for a few seconds. Oh he's good.

I notice hes wearing the same white bracelet he wore in Bosch. Love his tats but im not sure what they are. Anybody know?

Excellent in Bosch!

Titus is one of the overlooked impressionists. He does a scary Al Pacino.
Surprised TH-cam hasn't censored or deleted this video.
Love Titus Welliver
Excellent Walken
Go to 3:46, 4:29 and 5:04 for the impression
I'm glad we got another season
Mangina🤣
I didnt know how cool this dude is. a fellow mimic.
Thats a pretty natural Walken impression
His Walken was better than Walkens Walken. =)
There's one major flaw with Bosch. There's only one season left.
Very good in small part in Reds2
If u ever wonder if Bosch can smile watch this video. 😂🤣
