Then take your perception out a frame. Instead of looking at still frames, look for when the people talking move their head the most. The civilian deep fakes are getting good though. Wonder what the govs got by now. We are gonna need to create a deep fake test where every interview will have to be people dancing and doing erratic movements, since that's what breaks the immersion.
The Arnie transition begins about @2:19. It takes about 6 or 7 frames through faster motion when he has two fingers and begins to move his head. You can see at @2:33 where his hand swishes past his face that the transition "messed-up" across the face, hand and background. They could have spent time cleaning that up. It's excellent …but not perfect, yet.
