I think there was a post on twitter that she was supposed to be married to a man but she didn't want to lose her freedom so she ate a lot of food and the man rejected her so basically allowing her to keep her freedom
The story also tells that when she was young she thought there was equality because she could express herself freely at the dinner table just like her brothers. But as she grew up, when her brothers went to law school, she was asked to be a “lady” and learn to be a good wife. In order to rid herself of an arranged political marriage, she intentionally got fat so that the other side would not choose her. So, from what I got from the video, Ms. Keogh was born with a strong sense of justice. Even as a child, she would talk about current cases and trials at dinner and voice her own just opinions about them. However she was the only one in her family that harbors a good (if any) sense of justice. Her father was a corrupt and greedy judge who would deliver a “not guilty” verdict without question nor remorse, should the price be right and one of her brothers was a clerk who can and will forges false records for the proper amount of money. Under the judge’s gold seeking eyes, criminals had been let free while innocent people rot in jail. One day, Ms Keogh decided that enough is enough and poison her brother in order to take his place as clerk. After all, there are times when one must be bad in order to achieve the greater good.

What if she was a distant aunt of minds eye since she claimed she has "brothers" could be a reason why minds eye and her look so similar. Could also explain the intellectual inheritance. [This is just a theory]
Clerk has been confirmed to have been murdered at some point, and it is assumed to be the ripper. In her written backstory thingy, it mentions that after she starts to work for her brother she starts to hate everything about herself and changed her appearance. We assume that this must be how she changed from her past self to the pale scary clerk we know now. However, I believe this “change” was actually her running away and turning into Mary Anne Kelly, one of the rippers victims. (Before the change she recorded an interview with Jack the Ripper, thus establishing a connection between her and the serial killer.) We see what Kelly’s body looks like after her murder in the game, and her mouth scar kind of matches the weird exaggerated frown that clerk is seen having. Then she somehow gets revived(we see this countless times in other hunter backstories) and then she poisons her brother(technically she didn’t poison him in a way that immediately killed him. She just gave him a terrible diet so he became frail and then died). Btw, if this theory is true, this would mean that Keigan became a prostitute after running away, but that part isn’t super relevant.
Ok, so Vera and Clerk kill their sister/brother, and Joseph and Phillipe lost their brother/sister... This is pattern where the women in game kills their relatives, and the men at game had their relatives dead xD

This has to be my favorite character story video tbh
SHIT THAT ENDING IS SICK
I doubt this is true, since Keigan is canonically a judge at the end of her deductions and Jack's second letter is them interacting in the Manor.
THE ACCENT IM CRYING ITS SO AMAZING I LOVE HER
OK BUT IDV AND THEIR TRAILERS JUST IMPROVED SO MUCH I LOVE HER CHARACTER
She lost herself in the definition of “justice”
SHE'S SO PRETTY I LOVE HER
What.....
SHE IS FUCKING AMAXING I LOVE HER
Dang even the own creator called her fat
I LOVE HER SM WHAT A QUEEN
Friendship ended with mary now clerk is my best friend
smh this gives me goosebumps 😭😭😭 coolllllll 🥺✨
1:11 i got goosebumps
One hundred percent. Every time
Jesus christ I like her. Powerful and demanding. She knows what she wants and won't stop till she gets it.
Ok, so Vera and Clerk kill their sister/brother, and Joseph and Phillipe lost their brother/sister... This is pattern where the women in game kills their relatives, and the men at game had their relatives dead xD
Her overall character and design reminds me of Little nightmare
Now we talking , finally some horror theme in idv.
She reminds me of the game The Nightmare, she's like between The Teacher and The Twin Chef
I just hope in the near future she becomes a survivor, she looks so lovely before her becoming like that
YES!! Then people can duo with a Minds Eye and be the cutest team ever. xD
Nah she looks hella cool rn
@@rainyrin_wompwomp Consider: both
@@la_rata_5849 SO TRUE
@@horrorkitty BRUH AJSKSK HI HOMIE
This trailer gave me chills! I’m looking forward to getting back into IDV and trying to obtain her.
honestly out of all of the hunters, i feel like she could be a survivor. her actions arnt bad in a sense.. yes she posioned her bother and assumingly used him as a puppet to take justice into her own hands but at the same time her brother was corrupt and miss used his power
OMGGG I love that “well, well”
I'm very happy with the positivity in the comments so far,, there are some icks here and there but im actually very surprised its not worse
I STAN HER OMG
omg she is so intresting and complex i want to dissect her character like a frog. Like in a good way
SHE'S SOO COOL!!! this trailer gave me chills like ganji's wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im really excited for ms keogh!!! bit of a shame that idv's storyline comes out in small portions but i still check out on the progress from time to time
i cant stop smiling over her line though omg that was so good 😭😭😭👍
I LOVE HER AND THIS SO MUCH
She lost her right to talk and now she gain it back, at what cost? Well, almost anything she had... But, as her words "Justice needs sacrifice" but she never said how much..
this was IDV's peak, full stop
Yes.
I can’t wait to play her omg 👀👀👀
