A Dog’s Life Tribute to Patrick the Dog

Here’s a video dedicated to my beautiful dog, Patrick. He had a great life, but unfortunately, he was not able to fight his kidney disease any longer.
Even though he was very strong and responded very well to his treatment at first, in a very fast, sudden change of fate, his kidneys simply failed.
I did everything I could for my little buddy. But in the end, he lost the battle, it all happened very fast.
I can promise you that I bawled my eyes out, making this video that reflects the relationship I had with my dog and the unbreakable bond that we created over the years. I miss him terribly everyday from the moment I wake up, as does not do it for me anymore, until I go to sleep and it’s hard not feeling his presence in the house. It’s all so quiet.
I would like to profoundly thank Dr. Metry at Colonial Heights Veterinary Hospital for the outstanding work she did, and giving him 7 more months of comfort. Her dedication and compassion really made a difference.
Thank you, Paige, for bringing Patrick into my life. Thank you, Melanie, for helping him become the most obedient, fun and affectionate dog ever. You helped him unlock his true free spirit. He hardly ever knew leash. And he always listened. Thank you, Anne, for, your unconditional love and support through all these months. He wouldn’t have gotten this far without you.
And thank you, Jackie, for always being there for him, taking good care of him, loving him, and making him so happy.
