A Tribute to a Hound. 15 Years of Love

- Why do we love Coonhounds? Well many years ago we happened upon a Coonhound named Charlie. We spent the next 15 years together and it was still not enough. Coonhounds have personality and will leave a mark on your heart that will always be with you. While their lives are not as long as ours, we can give them the best life for as long as they do have. RIP Charlie, you will forever be missed and the time we spent with you will always warm our hearts and tear our eyes. You were the best and we will see you again.
It is always, always very difficult to let go a dog ....a mate, partner, ally....who never hesitates to be on your side. I pay tribute to my Bruno and Bob. And they are still within my sight, resting peacefully in the lawn.
It's one of the hardest things for sure. But my Chuck and your Bruno & Bob are always with us. Thanks 🙏🐾
Same here our dog Angel passed weeks ago. She is unreplaceable. We are on a long grieving. Life is so mysteriously faded. We believe they are in heaven . Our stray dog Angel came with us for more than ten years.

Just let it sink in, that a creature can be with us from our young years, and the creature never spoke a word to us, but taught us so much.

Worst thing about owning a dog is that their life is too short. I grew up around Kits beach and it was a great place to go with our dogs. Sorry for your loss, i can relate.

Beautiful tribute. I recently had to put my Boston Terrier down on Jan 22, 2024. Prior to that I took him out to his favorite spots even when it was cold here. I've had him for 9 of his 11 years and loved every minute of it. I regretted not taking videos/pics of him in his younger years but I've put a scrapbook of some recent pics.

I never fail to be amazed at how these incredible animals almost without exception give us their unconditional love and loyalty. We, as humans, are lucky that another species would attach themselves to us in such a manner. It is obvious from your video that you returned that love and gave your pet the best life you could and the best life he deserved. I thank you for that. I have lost a cat and a dog so I know your heartbreak.

What a handsome boi. What a fun boi. And a really good sport when it came to costumes. You had a wonderful life and adventures together. No matter how it happens, we are never ready for it to happen. i had to put my almost 19 years old female beagle SAMANTHA to sleep going blind she would have nightmares running back and forth in hallway from bedroom so confussed and so scared i could barely calm her down si called vet explained what was going on with her so i had to make a decision that still hurts me i had her creamated her ashes are next to me now in living room she was dropped off at dumpsters where take trash she was about 3 months old BIG PART OF THE FAMILY SWEET SAM I MISS YOU !!!!! AND LOVE YOU !!!! R I P SWEET SAM
