Good vid. I wouldn’t say this SUV is just for mothers, fathers, grandparents and aunties... as I am only 37 with no children and have the F Sport version. I wanted reliability, style and class.. but I don’t think you have to be an elder to appreciate those things either. I was with you all the way up until you went there with your commentary, lol.
My mom just gave me her 2016 base with 112k miles on it, and I love it. The suspension was a little tired, so I put RSR lowering springs on it and now it handles sport wagon. For anyone with a high mileage RX that needs new suspension, I highly recommend it.
I'm 70 years of age. When I was in my 20's. My friends were into "muscle" cars. NOT ME. I've always loved smooth quiet power . I guess I haven't changed much in 50 years! A nice Lexus has always been my DREAM CAR! I think I will be buried in my RX350!!!
Traded in my 2020 Mazda CX-5 for a return to the RX family. That Mazda beat me up and my kidneys as well for its harsh stiff ride. I wanted a smoother more comfortable ride/glide and a car proven in its reliability.
Keep in mind that the CRV, RDX and RAV 4 have 4 cylinder engines and except for the RDX, the CRV and RAV 4 have much less power, thus better fuel economy and are considered compact SUVs
31 yr old here, just got my RX350 3weeks ago. I weighed heavily between Volvo xc90 and Lexus. Lexus won of course and this has by far been the best decision.
It is a tremendous machine. With less complexity than the Volvo while giving you the same features, it makes sense to me. Congrats and enjoy it in good health!
Just bought a 2018 RX 350. It’s wider than my current 1999 RX 300 which is waiting for a Hit and Run driver claim. My 2018 seems slower in the city than my 1999 which has 221,000+ miles on it. Still learning all the gadgets in my 2018.
Congrats on the purchase Angelita, great to hear you are ok after your accident. The chunkier 2018 certainly is part of the reason for the speed differential!
That’s true what you say and that is better for mother, fathers speaking my father just got a 2019 RX 350 and he loved it he said he don’t care if it doesn’t have a sunroof it’s about Luxury for him so.☺️
Lexus cars are about details. Everything is dialed in for comfort and ease of use. The turn signals the carpet it’s all very upscale and durable. The silence of the interior, the buttery smooth suspension. Which as you drive the car a lot becomes very endearing. My next car will be a Lexus.
Much better in my 2021 RX 350, better infotainment, ride, handling, and I'd rather drive "antiquated" while I drive past the mechanics shop or dealership for repairs.
I don’t understand why you keep comparing this vehicle to smaller four-cylinder SUVs that are in a different class altogether! Of course they get better gas mileage. It’s a smaller vehicle with a smaller less powerful engine.
The mouse just takes getting used to. Apple Car play and touch screens are over rated. I don't want my grimy hands on my screen, and have to clean it. Get away from your Apple psychosis people.

Totally fair! Certainly this SUV suits a LOT of people's needs, and the reliability is tough to ignore. Love me some F-sport!
I'm 34 and just got one. I also don't think it's just for older people.
Good point! This is my car and clearing I’m young and fly.
I’m 34 and I love this generation RX ❤

That’s why I made it Sir Casm! Happy to help, and hope it helped give you some car buying confidence!
Just got the 2018 it’s pre owned but super nice. ( I’m 60 ) lol

Congratulations on your wonderful purchase!!!!

And that CVR transmission, I wouldn't trust it. When that push belt goes out, hold on to your wallet!!!

I don't have an issue with the mouse pad. After using it for a while it beats reaching up to the screen and also no smuggy finger print marks.
I can see how you can kinda sorta get used to it after a bit...but when compared to other systems it is one of the harder ones to get used to.
Yeah me too! I got used to it quickly. Not an issue for me. I’m glad I bought this vehicle because I plan to ride it till it drops!

Outstanding. As a certified old guy (lots of Subarus) I’m heading towards the RX. Thanks for it he video.
Great Choice Grant, thank you for the comment.
I’m 19 looking to upgrade to this when I graduate college 😮💨

Exactly! Great machine, just not for me.

You get it!
I had an IS350, GS350 2013 and now an RX350 2016. I am blown away with the ride comfort. It's just ridiculous. I'm 35 btw
Great videos thnx your explanation
You are the best!
great video... any issues since producing this video?
Not 1, currently over 80,000
I'm a 30-year-old dude who drives Lexus 450H... and I'm loving it.
Mother in law has one, absolutely adore the powertrain in the 450H. Congrats on a good machine.
2 camera setup! Great review. hmmm.. a Lexus with a 3.5L v6... she went from a 2GR to a 2GR. old reliable indeed.
Thank you for the help there! Super pumped to have it.
Should this review be followed up by another 2GR?
@@MoneyShift I can put the seats back in and do it whenever!
Thank you for your video. :)
Thank you for viewing!
what is the mileage currently?
About 84,000!
🔥🔥

The improvements made right before the total change increased the quality of life for the RX dramatically.
Totally agree

Wrong. This car is not for our parents and grandparents.
For who is it then in your opinion Stacey?
