- A game full of the ups and downs (mostly down from a swans fan POV), Brisbane dismantle the Swans in a brilliant Grand Final display.
A bitterly disappointing performance from the Swans, ending a fantastic 2024 season on such a pathetic low. Check out my reactions and matchday vlog from the 2024 AFL Grand Final. Might've not have been the result I had seeked for, but still such an amazing experience. Enjoy!

As a Brisbane fan, I still can’t believe what happened. You were deservedly the best team all year but just didn’t turn up for the occasion. Sorry if I’ve been a bit harsh but I also really enjoyed the day as a lion. Loving the content nonetheless riles. Good luck next year to both teams

@Cool89420 free kicks don't tell the story. Sometimes teams earn their free kicks by being harder and first to the ball, in other times teams play for frees and get rewarded. Look at Blakey ducking his head and automatically assuming a free (which doesn't get paid in GF's), they did it all year. Soft.
Ask for a refund from the Swans, every supporter who paid big bucks on GF day to attend and cheer should be entitled to one. Swans as a club should give them all free memberships next season!
Great Vlog Riles mate! I backed the Swans to win considering they finished 1st on the ladder, so definitely didn't expect Brisbane to come away with a massive win like that, 2022 all over again........ hoped you had a lot of fun, and good to see you went down to the MCG again!

Not to be too biased, but I'm not sure anyone was beating Brisbane on Saturday. Swannies just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

All class Egg, quality performance from the lions, was a win that meant a lot no doubt.
I don't mean to sound harsh,but I reckon this will eat up the Swans players all pre season and next home and away season. Quagmire just can't seem to get his players up like Fages does. The Lions boys all love him dearly and they play their arse off for him. He's obviously a great people person and very caring and welcoming for the young boys to blossom. Holy shit Will Ashcroft is already a gun. Scary how good he will be if he stays injury free.

Still amazed Sydney finished up. Awful form coming into Finals, then snatched a few wins fair enough, but wowza did they not show up on GF day. Refused to defend!! Every team in the top 8 wanted to play Sydney though as you could tell some things weren't right. Unlucky mate, keep going with it

Not going to win a Grand Final if you're blitzed in the contested marks, blitzed in the contested possessions and not applying pressure when you're not first to the ball.
As a lions fan I absolutely loved it but don’t be discouraged, the Swans will get their time soon for a premiership.
As a lions fan growing up in the bad times watching us get spanked by 70 every week a win felt like a premiership. Where now to actually experience one is a life long dream. But am I honestly astounded by how you lot just didn’t show up. It was your 2nd worst performance all year. 1st being the port game. When we were up by 46 I expected a response but still didn’t happen. I’m still shocked now

Being a neutral and actually attending this grand final. This was a lot of fun to attend and be at despite the game being a smashing. Sorry for your swans 🦢 had lots of fun on GF day though, hopefully the swans can improve in the future and learn how to win a GF!

@@geoffmaloney2717 Brisbane are getting Ashcroft who is a father son not an academy selection. An advantage that favours all clubs.
Alongside that the AFL have made NGA’s for all clubs accessible from pick 1 again. So all clubs are now getting an academy advantage.

Exactly. The Swans are totally woke, which is why they choked. Again. Their DEI female “sports psychologist” has them thinking “one game doesn’t define us” and “a premiership is just the cherry on top of a good season” (Robbie Fox quotes post thumping), which is such a female approach to life and absolute rubbish! The premiership is the whole bloody cake! Sydney also replaced “sons” in their historic club song to appease their AFLW side (DEI Laura Kane would be so proud) which is despicable in my opinion. You know what colour you get when you wash your red and whites in hot water …
And I’m an old South supporter. This lot are soft compared to the 2005/06 & 2012 sides …
