I dunno why you haven't been coming up on my feed lately Vince, but I'm happy to see you again! *Giggety* Definitely lots of flavor on Lexus. Hope nothing breaks on you. By the way, the factory end links on my Challenger are about the same thickness. Luckily I've got new ones from AAD Performance that are going in now. 💪🏼✌🏼
I like the way the InForce has a foaming agent that lasts just long enough so that the penetrating solution doesn't drip off. It all stays on the part - brilliant!
I can see why the customer didn't want to install these themselves, what a pain in the ass. I can't imagine trying to do this in my driveway with my shitty tools. Nice job.
Nice work, glad to see you uploading these longer repair vids again. While not exactly on point, this video still reminds me of the wise choice I made for not opting for the air suspension on my 2006 LS430 (21k original rust-free SoCal desert miles), which many owners end up swapping out for the "traditional" OEM suspension components (which isn't an inexpensive conversion). My car rides and handles like a dream given it's nearly 18 model years of age, very pleased with my choice of Pirelli Cinturato P7's too -- best car I've ever owned.
That poor car. Lower it down so that the flavor can meet more impact possibility, Speed on to the wrecking yard. But beautiful work as always. Say Hi to the Landy for me
I'll never understand why folk with cars like this (a motorised comfy chair) insist on "improving" them with lowered, hard-riding suspension. Screws up the suspension geometry too. For clarity, I've owned similar vehicles for some years now....but I also have a couple of totally different cars for when I need a blast of raw motoring.
I’ve been having CSW withdrawal! When you proceeded to say, the hardware is having problems, identifying its pronouns, I nearly lost it.😂😂😂 And can I suggest instead of PB Blast, we change it to Lamb Sauce for the flavor.
Maaan! Nevermind the coilovers, make sure them control arms aretip top! Last week I got a $7k quote to replace all 8 on my Fsport... On the fence of fix or let go.
@@customerstateswhat I just got my car out the shop. I got all 8, tie rod ends and high fuel pressure pumps and alignment done for right under $5k. Also got some new tires from costco at $1300. So in one week I spent $6k on this car. Then I have a small seep in the valley plate, the tech said its common on the V8's but I gotta re-coup before I send her back in to get that fixed. If Lexus made more V8 sedans I would have let her go but shes the last of the LS Fsport v8's.
Regarding the floor flavor, the plastic cladding would better serve this vehicle in the dumpster behind the shop so that car can get rinsed off after snowstorms 😂😂😂
This is a Japanese car. Some poor Lexus engineer spent 20 years designing ONE NUT on the suspension. Three previous engineers honorably committed THAT ritual 😵because the suspension bottomed out once during testing. And now, that is all discarded to "improve" the ride! 😭😭
Vince, have ever dealt with a plugged up fuel filler compartment drain hose. What's the best way to just replace the entire hose as feeding fishing reel through it did nothing. 2011 A5
Very nice car he should not lower it that can cause all kinds of problems. Anytime you lower any vehicle suspension parts wear out much faster. I don't understand people they should just leave everything factory. You can also crack the oil pan and transmion pan as well bad idea
My thoughts exactly. Airbags aren't even that much more expensive and it's a myth they're more prone to prematurely wearing out. Otherwise class eight trucks that haul 45k lbs would not run them for 200k miles.
@@customerstateswhat CSW gotta take care of the dealership salespeople; they bring him lots of work selling cars to people that 'mod' them, or break them driving.
Why do people think they know more than all the engineers and designers to achieve something that they will hardly notice the difference! So it is lower and stiffer which is not the point on a Lexus.

On black interior we have drilled holes and used black plastic push in hole plugs
Good idea.
Might be able to find matching plugs used in another part of the interior, or make them decorative with silver spray paint.

when it's still in the air, you can also fix the rust so it doesn't get worse.
Definitely do an alignment when the ride height is set were he wants it lowering the car moves the tracking alot normally👍
"Nuttin Bolt here, with another Struggle Bus Ride."
Oh dear, the flavour!
I’ve been having CSW withdrawal! When you proceeded to say, the hardware is having problems, identifying its pronouns, I nearly lost it.😂😂😂 And can I suggest instead of PB Blast, we change it to Lamb Sauce for the flavor.
❤ All this! I would also like to add "talkin' back" to the CSW dictionary!
Haha keep it coming man!
Here for the LS content
You already know!
I would FLAT-OUT refuse to install such thing on any car! Also, lowered life is kinda like married life!
everytime i do the brakes or change over to snowtires, i always add grease or never seize to the exposed threads and brake lines

I'm in the same boat with my 2012. Is there a bushing option for AWD? I know the RWD have aftermarket kits for all 8 front arms, but the AWD does not.

Wait until it rusts away then install coil overs...oooookkkkay
I didn’t realize Lexus produced in all wheel drive LS.. today I’m going to look at a 13 ISF In an ultrasonic blue color …

That underside could do with a good dry ice blasting then undercoating.
Isn't the locking ring supposed to go under the adjuster ring on the coilovers?
4:27 ground strap has desintigrated from corrosion
Good eye
Owner's gonna get stuck at the first speed bumb he encounters
WTF, a hood under the hood?
may be you can find some tanish colored snap-in hole covers..
Booger weld exhaust lol
Good coilovers are "ok" at best, but cheap ones are absolutely horrible in any way you can imagine
Is SCHTRUTS the german/american version of STRUTS?
Did you have to remove the front upper control arms to install the coilover?
No
That strut was leaking and it appeared to be bent
Nice XF40, but man, what a shame to remove the bags. (unless it's one of the very few that had coils from factory)

You are not wrong.
How many miles on that LS?
130k
Shake and bake!
Toyota and Lexus fanboys always go on about how long these turds last
So your going to wreck a perfectly good car with aftermarket garbage so it’s going to ride like tank
I have a Ls and it rides great with stock suspension. They wanted to lower their vehicle and supplied the parts. So, I said Say No More I got you fam.

Kind of like putting racing stripes and a wing on a R-R Ghost. Maybe some fuzzy dice, too.
Not too much rust for a almost 10 year old vehicle. Imagine if it was an Audi.
full suspension conversion with adjustability.
It would have far less flavor if it were an A8.
@@vw5056 you are not wrong.
