The Great Nor’Easter is easily one of the best SLCs out there. The ride has new vest restraints, is far smoother than before, and has an awesome setting by the beach.
Great Nor’easter is actually insane for just being an SLC. 1-it has a semi-custom layout so it could fit in that plot of land. So now along with that abnormal right hand turn out of the station, the height was increased compared to a normal SLC, leading to it being faster and taking the elements a lot quicker I feel like. And 2-they had just completely redone the ride back in 2017 not only putting the new vekoma restraints, but also completely smoothening out the layout. Like they just selected the track in Planet Coaster and hit smooth all. It’s almost as good as some B&M inverts. (yes, im a fan of slc layouts)
I would add even more emphasis on how great the seaside experience is, and that I'd put Nor'easter at the top because every inversion faces over the ocean, and the sensation of cresting the lift at night over the beach is a truly special moment. I haven't ridden since the year after it was the original pink, with the original trains, but it was excellent even back then. I wonder if the salt and moisture made it run faster at night, open past midnight.
The name “Fly the Great Nor’Easter” is the equivalent of “Drive the Formula Rossa” or “Escape the Cobra’s Curse”. The added verb at the beginning is weird.
It's nice to see that there is actually a good boomerang and slc out there. I would love to enjoy my homeparks boomerang but my head gets jostled around too much!
Vekoma and Morey’s has a great relationship they work to retract great Nor Eastern in 2017 and 2008 and sea serpent hoot it’s Spikes where replaced with the new trains that just shows there relation ship between the two manufacturers
My favorite coaster here is a toss up between Great White and Sea Serpent. I do remember the Nor'Easter and Great White being sort of rough the last time I rode them in 2015 and even the Sea Serpent seemed rough too but I'd be willing to ride them again if they smoothed the rides out. I do recall the Great White being the roughest out of the three big coasters and could be why ridership is low since it seemed like there was never anyone riding that ride. Ridership seemed low for Nor'Easter as well but perhaps that changed if they smoothed the rides out.
My coaster ratings 1. Great Nor Easter: it’s so smooth nowadays and it’s pretty long as well 2. Sea Serpent: fun but Nor Easter is better and longer this coaster rocks but it’s so short 3. Great White: fun but jerky in some spots but I don’t think it’s a bad ride it is pretty fun I would recommend it 4. Rollies: the first drop gives you decent air time and a free fall experience 5: Run Away Tram: smooth family coaster 6: Doowoper: drops are to small for any airtime 7: Wild wizard: not to fun but mayble for kids
The Nor' Easter is a Really bad Choice for Adults. My mom went on it almost 20 years ago and she broke her neck on the ride. She still has pain in her neck every day and it causes headaches
The Morey Moron monopoly ruined any vibe or charm the boardwalk had in the late 80s, early 90s. Hunts Pier was the jewel at the shore. But hey, you could crap in a paper bag, print Wildwood on it, and shoobies will but it.
my favorite coaster at morey’s piers is woo wopper 😈😈 also this is the last countdown from the parks we went to right?? that’s sad :(
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
woog wopper

The Great White is fantastic, especially at night
I went to Moreys Piers this summer and I completely agree with your rankings. This park has such an incredible atmosphere!
Great video and great list! The top few coasters all looked really fun and awesome!

true
Awesome Job! I absolutely love Morey’s Piers and I always have a good time there. Keep up the great work!!!!
Is this your favorite pier park?
I would definitely say so! It’s like 3 in 1
Runaway Tram is the best Family Coaster in New Jersey!

I’ve been here when I was too small to ride the big ones but maybe will return sometime
I’d recommend a return visit for sure
I love Morey’s Piers. I agree with your ranking.
Nice Video Man! Morey’s Piers looks awesome!
Thank you so much! Morey’s is so cool
The name “Fly the Great Nor’Easter” is the equivalent of “Drive the Formula Rossa” or “Escape the Cobra’s Curse”. The added verb at the beginning is weird.
yes, though fyi Not the original name. Fly was added when the trains were upgraded and it was painted white.
New Jersey is really underappreciated when it comes to parks imo
they have so much on offer, it’s true
I have the same ranking. Great white is by far my favorite, and it's actually my second favorite wooden coaster of all time.
I’ve been to Morey’s pier multiple times and I completely agree with everything you said
Good to hear!

Which boomerang is that?

I’m old enough to remember the Jumbo Jet, Flyer and the Screem Machine.
I visit morey’s pier a really short time ago

I was just there last week! Agree with your ratings 100%
Good to hear! Thanks for watching
My fav is the sea serpent
Irony is both Sea Serpent and Nor Easter are one of the oldest Vekoma SLCs and Boomerangs still operating in the US.
When you said ‘what other SLC can you say that about’ I think of Kumali at Flamingo Land and The Odyssey at Fantasy Island I guess the UK is blessLCed
My favorite coaster is The Great Nor Easter
I’m guessing number 1 is Fly The Great Nor’Easter or Great White
Wildwood needs to bring back thrill rides like Ocean City Maryland has, it sucks that they got rid of Malestorm.
My coaster ratings
1. Great Nor Easter: it’s so smooth nowadays and it’s pretty long as well
2. Sea Serpent: fun but Nor Easter is better and longer this coaster rocks but it’s so short
3. Great White: fun but jerky in some spots but I don’t think it’s a bad ride it is pretty fun I would recommend it
4. Rollies: the first drop gives you decent air time and a free fall experience
5: Run Away Tram: smooth family coaster
6: Doowoper: drops are to small for any airtime
7: Wild wizard: not to fun but mayble for kids
i disagree with 2 and 3, and 5 and 4. still a good ranking
The great white is the best
I agree
I rank them like this:
7: doo whopper
6: wild wizzer
5: Rollie’s
4: runaway tram
3: nor Easter
2: sea serpent
1: great white
why is woog doooper 7?
This is the top Jersey Shore park I want to visit. Some others include Casino Pier and Playland's Castaway Cove.
PCC should be high priority for galeforce 😍
Sea serpent
COASTERDASH WOULD YOU RATHER EAT A BOOMERANG OR AN SLC

I’m in wildwood at the moment and just to know I don’t live here
