Someone who could only listen to the first 30 seconds of this song, get turned off by brutal sonic nature of the band, and discard it…. Well, they’d be missing one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful moments I’ve ever heard in music. This band and this song are gems.
no doubt. still remember hearing this song for the first time when i was younger being just in awe and epiphanies from a musical perspective knowing exactly what you both are saying... its my all time track and the polyrhythmic bliss into what i think is the best solo ever imo, so dope!@@1xN
@@MusicAsMedicine88 Yes, it's an outstanding piece of music. It's incredible how a single part can evoke the similarly strong emotions in so many people. Meshuggah created something truly deep, and it's hard to grasp for my how -- not sure they would know!

This is one of the greatest moments in Meshuggah's songwriting. To build into something beautiful and melancholic from this song is beautiful. I just stumbled across this and I have listened to your interpretation of it so many times in a row. I love what you have done with it. I think that you could create your acoustic album in this style and I would listen to it on repeat for hours at a time. Love the emotion, the timing, execution and love for the original. Well done. Do more interpretations of their material. Love it.

Thanks, that makes us very happy! There have been several requests for a 10 hour loop version of this song, maybe we should finally consider doing that! 🤣
i swear there's something magic about this exact part of this song. I've run into so many covers of it now and everyone who makes one feels the music so well
This deserves way more views and likes than it currently has. Love your acoustic Meshuggah interpretations and hope we get to hear some more in the future!

Such a great cover of this song! Reminds me of Jose Gonzales cover of Kylie Minogue’s “Hand on your heart”. The mood is totally different, but the meaning is preserved.
Dang! Thank you so much for this beautiful captivating reprisal of one of my most favourite moments in music history! It's ethereal - sublime - awe-inspiring!
This was so good dude! I checked out your Spotify and have been listening to this song and your cover of Do Not Look Down on repeat all day. Meshuggah is so good in this acoustic/jazz style, and that sax solo on Do Not Look Down was amazing. Will you be doing more Meshuggah covers? Also, planning on doing a guitar playthrough for this song?
Thanks a lot for your kind words! Hmmm too many good songs to choose from. Well these 2 you’ve done so far I would definitely put on that album. Here’s a few other suggestions, but I seriously could list 20 songs lol: - They Move Below (the intro particularly I think is a must do) - Future Breed Machine - Ligature Marks - Gods of Rapture - Entrapment
