Yes, usually with dandruff oils can actually make it worse. So if you’re using a rosemary oil that has an antifungal property that is actually a super solid choice. Rosemary oil is one of the more effective hair oils that helps to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp to promote hair growth. So it sounds like you’re doing everything right. You could try to add an antifungal scalp cream if you can find one. 🙌🏾
All essential oils need to be diluted with a carrier oil like olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil etc and because essential oils are concentrated you don't need to put in a lot of drops. You can Google to see approximately how much you need

Unless it’s more leave in conditioner or more oil if you need it throughout the week. when you’re ready to rinse or wash out your hair, which should be anywhere between every 1-4 weeks, that’s when you would remove all those products by either using shampoo, or conditioner

In between the two weeks and you feel your hair is dry or might need a little bit more conditioner or oil you can feel free to apply as often as you feel your hair needs.

Wash your hair this way twice a week and let’s see if it helps.
After a month of having your hair braided. You need to wait at least 1 week to allow your hair time to rest. So if you got your hair braided on Sep 24th you want to take it on Oct 24th and let your hair rest for a week or two then your free to get another protective style 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
