อยู่ๆ ผมก็เกิดอยากฟังคอนดักเตอร์ขึ้นมา คนแรกที่นึกถึงก็คุณเลยครับ ผมเคยดูโฆษณาอะไรสักอย่างนี่เหละ ในโฆษณาบอกว่า "คนไทยไม่แพ้ชาติใดในโลก" มาถึงวันนี้ผมดีใจแทนคนไทยมากเลย ระดับโลกจริงๆ ครับ

ผมอ่านหนังสือของคุณ เมื่อวาน วันนี้ สิ่งที่ผมเคยคิดว่าไม่มีทางทำได้ กลับทำได้เฉยเลย คุณสุดยอดมาก
Natthanan Gumyan ผมมีอยู่เล่มหนึ่ง อยากรู้แนวคิดของคนที่ประสบความสำเร็จมากที่สุด เขามีทัศนคติต่อการใช้ชีวิตแบบไหน เลยหามาอ่าน แน่นอนบุลคลเหล่านี้เขาไม่ได้ให้เราลอกการใช้ชีวิตของเขาถึงจะประสบความสำเร็จ แต่เขาให้เรายึดหลักวิธีคิดบางอย่างของเขาเท่านั้นเองที่จะเข้าใกล้ความสำเร็จ และที่เหลือก็ต้องเป็นหน้าที่ของเราที่จะต้องทำทุกอย่างให้สมบูรณ์
ใช่เลยครับ ทุกครั้งที่ผมมีเวลาว่าง ผมมักจะไปหาหนังสือพวกSelf Developmentที่ห้องสมุดโรงเรียนมาอ่าน
แต่ผมดันไปเจอหนังสือของพี่บัณฑิตวางไว้ตรงจุดซ่อนหนังสือของผม(ตำแหน่งที่มีไว้แอบหนังสือไม่ให้คนอื่นเจอ) ซึ่ง มาได้อย่างไร? ก็ไม่ทราบ จำได้ว่าชื่อ"วิธีชนะโชคชะตานี้แหละ" สำหรับผมคือดีมากก ได้นำไปพัฒนาตนเองอย่างมหาศาล มันทำให้ผมกลายเป็นคนที่พูดเก่ง อาจจะไม่ได้ยอดเยี่ยม แต่อยู่ในระดับนักขาย (ทุกวันนี้ผมยังโดนเพื่อนบอกให้กลับไปเป็นไอ้นิ่งเหมือนเดิมดีกว่า555) มองโลกในแง่ดีมากขึ้น จนตอนนี้ที่เขียนผมอยู่ ม.5 แล้ว และสัญญาว่าจะพัฒนาทักษะนี้ต่อไป ขอบคุณผู้อ่านครับ

By just watching this video people should understand how incredibly hard conducting is. Conductors are not just dancing in front of everyone. It's every member in the orchestra converting the emotion of the conductor in to sound. That's why conductors have to be extremely emotional

Ok, honest question here... why orchestras needs conductors? Can't they just learn their parts? Do they pay attention to guys movements and gestures? Do all of them have meanings or some are just dancing?
To keep everyone in time and get the dynamics & expression feeling coherent. He also helps shape how the piece is interpreted & played :)
fireblazzerx lead; speed, volume, expression, etc. He is just playing but using full orchestra as his instrument. His place is the best, so can hear all. People in orchestra may not hear partners on the other side. Conductor is like a boss, so only the most experience musician can do it ;)
+xen32 The conductor is needed for many different parts of the performance. The main reason most people would understand is that the Conductor keeps the ensemble together. Also, they make all the musical decisions like dynamic changes, slowing down, speeding up, etc. They also make the administrative decisions (when applicable) that keep the ensemble going. They are also the person who interprets the music, and tells the ensemble what they think, and how they should play their specific instrument. I am in a beginning conducting class, and it is way more complicated than it looks because you have to learn all the rules before you can start to break them. One thing that I can't comprehend at my beginning stage is how they are able to conduct an entire measure ahead because the score is massive. Also, they are usually the only ones who get the entire score, so they cue the parts when to come in. There are some places, not in this piece, where percussion players rest for almost 30 minutes. Imagine counting 1..2..3..4.. for 30 minutes and not getting off the entire time, and you will understand why the conductor is an essential part of an orchestra.
+fireblazzerx at the beginning stages, they are taught the rules, but as they get their own style they are able to put their own style in, and break some of the beginners rules.
Most of the "heavy lifting" a conductor does is during rehearsal with the orchestra. He needs to inspire them, he needs to get them to a point where he is absolutely satisfied with their work and he needs to interperet the original composer's work. A conductor is just as important as a director in a movie, yet nobody questions whether a director is important or not. The conductor must know the piece and the composer better than anyone in the orchestra, and he adds personal touches to the piece.

People often make fun of a conductor because it seems like their job is somewhat pointless, but the real work that a conductor has to do is rehearsing the orchestra for weeks before-hand. He/she must have the most well-trained ear and know the music better than anyone else in the room to know how it must sound and what emotions the composer is trying to convey, if the violins need to be softer, if the woodwinds need to be louder etc. You can tell the difference between a great conductor and a not so great conductor just by listening to their orchestra, it takes true mastery to be able to interpret masterpieces written by the greatest conductors in history with accuracy.

คิดได้ไง คุมนักดนตรี 50,60 คนบางวงเป็นร้อย โน๊ตตัวแรกเลิ่มเล่น ถ้าไม่มี conductor นักดนตรีจะเริ่มเล่นยังไง คงไม่มีที่ไหนนักดนตรี เป็นร้อยเหล่านั้นเริ่มเล่นกันเองหรอก ถ้าไม่มีคนบอกจังหวะ
