Opened my phone at 2:30am and saw your pretty face and had to watch. Sure would have been nicer if I opened it and saw Mrs T instead lol. Hi Mrs T. Great video
Got a rust ring in the cylinder hone yep been there multiple times on these. Have to take apart and hone out the cylinder check tolerances is to far out get bigger rings or piston
Enjoy your videos. How would you know if you have a bent driveshaft. Anything you can look for before tearing things apart. Engine turns fine with spark plug out but not with plug in. Spark plug gap looks fine.
Thank you. It's probably not a bent crankshaft. It's possibly a bad cam shaft or the valves are not adjusted properly. Check out my cam shaft replacement video, link is in the description and the pinned top comment.
T-bone on my craftsman i went to start it and it dident make it past compression stroke i took out spark plug found out carburetor dumped the whole tank of gas in cylnder. The day before it ran worked perfectly and dident flud i took carburetor apart cleaned it good checked needle it is fine needle was sealing fine when i blew in fuel line inlet and put it all together and same thing happind. Its a walbro ,craftsman lt2000. It has brass seat no rubber seat. What do you think i should do?
Don’t bother to respond to this - just adding my vote to a repair if the customer goes for it. It would also be informative to see a cost analysis breakdown for this specific machine to assess whether a repair would be worthwhile.

@@RaleysSmallEngines when are you going to post another video or not
I appreciate you not saying all the swear words I would yell while working on that thing!
Come on T-Bone. Rip it apart and see if it can be honded out and be saved. New rings and a good valve job. It’s worth a shot!!
We will see what the customer decides to do. If he decides to fix it I will film it. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend.
hone

Excellent, as always!
Thanks for watching my friend, glad you enjoyed it!
Great video T-Bone, neat little scope.
Thanks 👍
Fun video T-bone! Were you thinking that the wrong spark plug was too long and hitting the piston?
Thank you. At first I was wondering until I looked at it, but feeling how hard the flywheel moved I knew there was more issues.

How long is the lawn mower been sitting now
Don’t forget the bad bearing in the electric clutch can cause it to be locked up also 😊😢
Yep, that can happen, but not this time.
That is one toasted engine fer sher!
Unplugged safety switches 😮
Wow it's locked up I just thought it was just the starter
Yep, bad news for the customer.

If it is a single cylinder Briggs order a OEM 594593 carburetor. Here is a link to it on Amazon. amzn.to/4jd6Dfi
@RaleysSmallEngines its a single cylinder. Thanks
You da man! 😊
That’s going to cost a few bucks to fix damn …
I have a 2021 craftsman turn tight T240 never would I want anything else...
Is the rest of the mower still in good enough shape to spend more money on a new motor or a rebuild? Or is it now a parts supply for future mowers?
It's a customers mower, he has to decide what to do with it. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend.
@@RaleysSmallEngines I hope he/she decides to have you rebuild it. That would be a great video(s). I have a rider I am considering rebuilding.
I thought for sure connecting rod left the chat 😮
👍
I don't know your customer but I wonder if someone didn't prank him by getting sugar into that cylinder somehow.
I could use a tutorial on spark plugs
What kind of info on spark plugs are you wanting to know?
Yep rod broken
Nope not broken rod. Watch the borescope of the cylinder chamber.
📝👍🏾
Probably put her in the pond

3 post solenoid is already grounded, 4 post has to be grounded with a wire to ground…
Exactly what I said in the video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting my friend.
A probably good mower let go from neglect....Shame....🙄
