All those women who commented things like: "you should not feel guilty for betraying your husband like that, and if he doesnt immediately forgive you for wgat you did, he never loved you" are honestly even worse than Francine here
They, and now also Francine, have _no idea_ just how much this kind of betrayal scars someone

"Oh, they should forgive you... and if they don't, then they never really loved you." Man, I hate that phase. I remember when this was used on me during my last breakup. If you really love a person, you don't need a reason to cheat! Forgiveness doesn't work like that. Forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation. You can't cheat on someone and expect them to want a relationship over an apology. Real love is being able to give a true apology and be okay with the outcome (even if it's not the outcome we want).

Honestly, I would love that to be banned from everywhere. Could you imagine the implications if you tell that to an abuse victim? "They truly love you if they forgive you"

I once went to counselling after doing some shitty things that hurt someone I claimed to care about. When the counsellor tried to take that angle with me - that I wasn't to blame and all that - I told her that we were done and I didn't need another enabler in my life.

She’s not remorseful in the slightest. I’ve read posts from truly remorseful cheaters, and those people will go into great detail about their emotional state during the affair, line out all of their horrible actions, leave themselves open to public opinion. Even though they all say they “don’t know why” they did this, the truly remorseful will willingly bear that Scarlet Letter while trying to move on themselves, trying to earn a second chance with a new partner (never the AP) with full honesty about their past. This lady did none of that.

Ok my two cents regarding the story:
In these case the therapist probably should have been a man. According to the comments provided by different women, it's an echo chamber. They are downplaying betrayal to the level of a simple mistake and believe "if he truly loved me then he would have at least allowed me to explain." The whole fundamental is wrong. Men take this on a factual basis of what happened.
    - She willingly decided keep talking with this guy.
    - They met on multiple occasions alone.
    - They created fake accounts to talk with each other.
    - She hid everything from the first signs of things going beyond a friendly chat from her family, and even more so, her husband.
A man takes this as a woman choosing the other side. So the thing he did was separate and leave: "if i am not wanted, i will not try to keep things together". These are multiple choices, not a simple mistake. Whether you are a man or a woman, never take back a cheater, they proved they can't be trusted.
    Regarding the video itself:
I think it would do good to change the format a bit. The story in a single color for the text, your own ideas in another color, and the comments from other people in a 3rd color, to keep everything organized and easy to understand. Also please try to separate what you say from the story itself. Try to make it one piece the story and then your input. Maybe a good idea would be to insert your own thinking between updates, or between the story and other people's comments, so we would know what is from you and what is from OP. It might help to keep things coherent. Best of luck Ngex.

But during the comments, the second or third comment was from a man who excused her cheating and said that his wife cheated on him and he's back together with her, so the therapist'd gender wouldn't 100% play a role in their advice.

  • @Project129
    @Project129 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

Let's be clear: The woman is at fault and the man shouldn't take her back.
"If he really loved you..." He did love her, once before, and look how she treated it. She could have said no, she could have decided not to cheat, but she didn't. Let's play the same game: If she truly loved him, she wouldn't have even thought about cheating or acted upon it.
"This was a little mistake." No, this was a betrayal. He trusted her to have his back and to stay by his side, but she apparently couldn't maintain bare basics for that. She wanted excitement, she went for it, and she suffered the consequences that should have followed.
"He should take her back! She's sorry!" Sorry doesn't magically make things right. She hurt him in a way it seems only men these days seem to truly understand. We aren't allowed to be vulnerable most of the time, usually with anyone, and the few we consider close enough and trustworthy enough are like family. I have maybe three in my entire life that I am capable of allowing myself to lower my guard around and share any issues I might have. If any one of those three betrayed me on a similar scale, I wouldn't forgive them and I sure as hell would be guarded around the other two until I am certain they can't or won't betray me like others have.
A simple message to anyone reading, to any who decide to get into relationships: Never forget, never forgive. If they stab you once, they'll stab you again if they think they can get away with it. Don't give them that chance. You aren't in the wrong for leaving them, you deserve better, and if they try to tear you down for not taking them back remember they aren't worth your time. If they truly loved you, they wouldn't have done it in the first place.

Some points to note: she was not ashamed of cheating on her husband for THREE days a week, but of having been discovered. And as if that wasn't enough, she has the AUDACITY to try to convince her children that she was a great WIFE! And here comes the cherry: she babytrapped him!
This last one can be seen because the baby was not a reason for happiness due to the motherhood that OP tried for 15 years, but becayse this child was seen as a way for her to return to play her happy family game, which seerns this witch unfortunately will get. If she was so worried about her own baby, she would keep it regardless of who the father was. The fact that she would only keep the baby if it were Ray's shows how much she cares more about the doors that this being would open than about the child itself.
It can be seen that OP only regretted being DISCOVERED cheating when in a moment of desperation she wanted someone to say "it isn't your fault" and when her parents didn't do so, she called the home wrecker to get a "shoulder to cry on." Honestly, OP is a disgusting woman who unfortunately got things her way. And I still can't believe that this delusional therapist tried to victim blame while flattering OP, I'd rather think she just did it for the money.

She had done it once what's stopping her from doing it again when another person shows signs of interest in her. That temptation will be there and she'll either stay true to her hopes for a happy life or cheat again and things will be back to square one all over again with her life hanging on by a thread.

Honestly, I don't think she's reeling him back in, I think the OP's perception of what's happening at the end is just more evidence of her delusions/selfishness. She even says it without realizing it. Her kids come by every weekend to hold the baby, taking turns holding the baby. She takes that as them forgiving her instead of just trying to bond with their sibling. All of their actions she describes are actually focused around the baby, not her. Her ex-husband comes by every night to hold and bond with the baby...and then LEAVES as soon as they put the baby down for the night. He said he wanted an amicable co-parenting relationship and split custody. But you can only rarely get fully split custody with a newborn due to physical needs. So he's coming to bond with his son and then LEAVING immediately after he's asleep. Yeah, he brought food once, he's either decent or hungry. She's super convinced all of this means she's going to get everything she wants...but then she was also absolutely convinced everything would go well once she found out she was pregnant. She's deluding herself and everything the others are doing are about the baby, not her.

I don’t mean to compare channels, but the mainly facts guy used to not have his color changed to a different color, but when he did it was a big help. And then he just started giving his say after each story, which I feel flows easier.

Or even better, just don't interject opinions at all. The video maker's opinions are totally banal and uninteresting, and add absolutely nothing to the stories. It's like "I was cheating for 2 months". Added opinion: "so she's been cheating for 2 months by this point. That's awful".

The difference between this channel and the mainly facts dude is that the latter actually tries with his content. This is just lazy text to speech with minimal editing, and lots of Ai stories. Cranking out just enough to get some ad revenue.

the woman in the comments holding her hands are cheaters themselves that's why they didn't call her out on her shit and I love the fact she blame the affair partner ruining her marriage when it was she who ruining it. his single and new she was married he has no partner but she did she lost her kids and husband. he would be dumb to take her back.

Oh, no. No no no~! You do NOT get to play that card in this game! She made a fake Facebook profile for secret communications and snuck around her family to be with her affair partner. That shit takes conscious and deliberate effort and planning. That's not a mistake, she knew damn well what she was doing.

She is dillusional. I've met people who blew up their mariiages or those connected but still had kids to worry about. Once the kids were no longer needing them as part of support the cheaters found out they were just a now disposable side affect of the kid needing support.
Your car is not working with kid "Okay, I'll come look at it." Without kid. "Why are you calling me!"
Can't affored rent with kid. "Okay, I'll give you some money" Without kid "Why are you calling me!"

Cheat on me once... I may forgive you, but I'll never be with you again. You will never have my trust.
Forgiveness will be only because hate will bring me down, and I have to let hate go for me. But you'll never be back in my life.
She got what she deserved. I guarantee everyone who was like... "Don't wear your infidelity as a Scarlett letter" were all cheaters at some point. So what... the VICTIMS (husband, kids, parents) are all supposed to roll over and say thank you? Girl, get out of here.
Maybe one can overcome past wrongs... but first they have to own up to it and stop blaming everyone else and playing the victim... and second, they have to accept they aren't owed forgiveness and sometimes they just need to be better for someone new.

Bad move Ray, me personally ain't no way, I will help take care of my child, but no playing house with that cheater. She disrespected you for months and slept with you on the same day, while cheating until you caught wind of it. The kids can have a close relationship with their mother.

But the funny part is they always want their spouses back after they have all the fun. That shit they really get on my nerves.. I believe that once you cheat your ass is done with me.

Your husband and children did not abandon you. You betrayed and abandoned them by cheating. Yes your AP is in the wrong to sleep with married woman multiple times. But he didn’t force you to drop your shorts and open your legs multiple times . . . The first time you cheated you went home and gave your hubby sloppy seconds. You even noticed changes in your husband and didn’t care . . . YOU ABANDONED YOUR HUSBAND AND CHILDREN . . .
