Can you guide about private health insurance. For example, if our work start date is 1st of September and we are reaching germany on 25 august . The I guess we need I month travel insurance and a private insurance . This private insurance we need to take before hand of after reaching germany ?
Hi! Sure. I took a Travel Insurance for 1 month from Reliance which costed me around 1050. Once you are in Germany you have you apply for the Insurance with TK(which is a Public heath insurance) or a private one. And it will be valid from the the day you start your job over here. So until then the travel insurance is enough and it will be sufficient for your travel.
Hi my employer already applied at the Ausländerbehörde in July and now finally in September they transferred the fees with completed documents can you suggest how long will this take place because at the same time I also applied for a normal track visa in Mumbai on 14th August and when I enquired they say my application has not even reached the German consulate in Germany. I am really worried as I have a partial recognition I applied for acknowledge test which is on November for which I have already paid plus if I don’t receive my visa and and full recognition by December my contact will end and I’ll lose my job please need help!!!!!
Hi, In this case follow up with your employer and also you can drop a mail explaining your situation to the vfs where you have applied, and also try to call them. This shouldn’t take this long if your employer applied through fast track process. Just follow up with them

Hi... I am an IT professional in Oracle ERP and in to software programming, currently working in India. Though my IT experience is 15years and it's all in IT, my education background is BE mechanical engineering. Need your suggestion and advice on whether this may be a downside for ICT job market and eligibility. Pls advice.
Your background in mechanical engineering may not be a disadvantage in the ICT job market, especially if you have 15 years of experience in IT and programming. Many employers in the IT industry value practical experience and technical skills over formal education. That being said, it's important to keep in mind that some employers may require a degree in a related field or relevant certifications for certain positions. In such cases, you may need to demonstrate your skills and knowledge through other means, such as professional certifications or relevant work experience. To increase your chances of success in the ICT job market, you can focus on continuously upgrading your skills and knowledge in your areas of expertise, keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies, and networking with other professionals in your field. Overall, your experience and skills in Oracle ERP and software programming are likely to be more important than your educational background, as long as you can demonstrate your expertise and ability to perform in the role.
hello sir, I heard VFS appointments are now easily available. I also heard that you can get visa within 2 weeks if you have blue card salary and all documents are wel organised.ZAV pre approval is not required if you salary is above 56400 euros. can you confirm this sir?
Hi sir iam kiruthika srilankan refugee girl but my place of birth in tamilnadu in india also studies completed in india but i have srilanka passport and residence in india and i have one doubt can i apply German work visa in india vfs? Pls reply
Hi, Kiruthika, Yes, you may apply for a German job visa through a VFS office in India as a Sri Lankan passport holder if you are residing in India, but specific conditions apply. Here’s what to consider: 1. **Residence Permit in India**: VFS Global typically requires non-Indian applicants to show proof of their long-term residency status in India, such as a valid residence permit or visa. This is because many countries require that visa applications be made in the applicant's country of residence. 2. **German Consulate Requirements**: German consulates often require applicants to apply within their country of residence. You should confirm with the German embassy or consulate responsible for your jurisdiction in India to ensure that they accept applications from Sri Lankan nationals living in India. 3. **Documentation**: Ensure you have all necessary documentation, including proof of residence in India, your passport, educational qualifications, and other documents required for a German job visa application. It's best to contact VFS or the German consulate directly to confirm if they accept applications from Sri Lankan nationals residing in India.
