When it is mid day of the sunny day and you switch on the lights in your hall it's very shameful for the architect.. good job by the architect.. good utilisation of natural light👍

amazing restoration. the only thing i would change is the presentation at the end. By showing side by side photos of original to restoration, so a viewer doesn't have to go find them original/restoration spaced threw out video.

The beauty of the house lies in the very intelligent use of various materials used, otherwise the design is simple as admitted by the designer with cutout being the main turning point in the house.

This was the best one from all the other architecture videos. Finally, something functional and tasteful!
All the other videos I've watched just seem like rich people with no taste throwing their black money into gaudy glass-shit ton of white marble-mismatched decor-vastu riddled structures!

I’m not an architect and yet it was thoroughly clear. I enjoyed that he described and drew then they showed photos. So many people lack imagination and need to be fed videos. ADD attention spans. “He didn’t show this he didn’t show that. He didn’t talk about the other home” It was literally all there the only thing we didn’t see was the wash rooms and he talked about the second row. All this silly complaints about irrelevant things half of which people just missed. They ignore the beautiful aesthetic and creative solutions the architect /designers brought to this project.

The designers tackled the problem of seepage in the living room but what about the bedrooms above.Mumbai homes are known for the wreck they become during rainy season.Otherwise the house Reno is exemplary. Especially the way they tackled a narrow seating area with custom furniture.Add I agree with most others when they say a housetour would have been made it clearer. Thanks for the video. And kudos to Mrs.& Mr.Lovekar.

can you explain the air flow logic? the open court served as a light source..but does air flow in that direction? also the upstairs bedroom at the back side..what about the ventilation there? i know its open to the court but just wanted to understand whether in such compact places is there any way to not compromise on natural air flow? all i can think of is decrease your house size and leave some space on the sides of the house but, i doubt it'll be possible given the area is already very small

6000 per sft just for renovation ?!! I thought you could as well demolish and re-build the whole house from grounds-up with no band-aid solutions like granite cladding to the walls which were getting damaged due to water seepage issues. Little strange to understand but anyway, its the owner's choice.
