Beautiful Feet | Romans 10 | 22nd December 2024

This sermon is a call to ALL Christians to be preachers of the good news!
To fulfil this call we must have our hearts desire reshaped to imitate Paul. His heart had an unceasing anguish and sorrow for the plight of those that didn't know God. This desire must then surely lead us to pray for these people. For salvation belongs to God alone, and prayer is our most potent weapon in seeing lives transformed.
For the extraordinarily good news is that everyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved. We call by believing in God, confessing to him, placing our faith in him, and repenting. The amazing outcome for all who believe is that we will be spared judgement and inherit all the riches of Christ. Praise God!
Faith comes through hearing the Word of God. So, there are great works for all of us to do as we proclaim and herald this good news to the people in our lives who do not yet believe. This important work must take place not just during Church meetings but in coffee shops, workplaces, sports clubs, family gatherings and so on.
Lord, help us to preach your good news with boldness, and free from ungodly fear.
