My wife surprised me with one of these for Christmas. So far it works very well, except some of the N64 games lag a little bit. But all of the Game Boy or Sega games I've tried so far have been working perfectly. Mine included a 128gb micro SD card, so the size of the card you get will probably factor into how many games you get out of the box.
@@apart-timeastronaut6530 Yes, it has thousands of games ready to paly out of the box. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to power it on for the first time, but once it's on it's ready to paly! I've heard you can download more, I'm personally not sure how yet.

Great console for the price, the emulation is great, awesome screen, comfortable in hands, good customization possibilities in the base software... and if you have your own roms library, it's easy to rearrange/make libraries directly in the RGB. But if you don't, it already comes with good roms in it. (i also love to watch movies on it when i'm travelling 🤫)

Ps1 games run fine in my experience. I overclocked the ps1 cpu/gpu(unsure which one it was)in the emulator settings when I had a ps1 game open and it made any ps1 games played after, run smoothly. The weird kinda issue is that n64 games don’t seem to run smoothly and there’s no overclock option on the emulator settings. I’m unsure if the n64 was just a more demanding console than the ps1 (I didn’t think so but am unsure). You’ll enjoy the console for anything below that generation, gbc/gba/neo geo/snes/genesis/arcade and so on. Don’t even try to attempt Dreamcast because it’s more or less a waste of time sadly.

They don't have to have the Wi-Fi but I would like this game handheld game console to be more bigger work out little kinks a bigger screen display and I think it would be perfect for Retro Gaming oh yeah and make a way for some of the games to run faster when in gameplay such as PSP Dreamcast yall know what I mean and fix the game lags for for the gaming performance
Very tempted to get one of these I like that it has loads of pre installed games and two joysticks are nice pretty good triggers as well. Also really like you can change the theme of the emulator screen makes it so you can custom change it to what you prefer
Next version of this will be off the hook.. wifi, better build quality, more ram so games don't lag and have choppy sound.. 3ds, Wii, GameCube, ps2 will all be for a perfect handheld

Yeah the Wifi kept this at a 8.5/10 instead of a 9 for me, but I am just going to buy a dongle to solve that. I got this on Temu's past cyber monday sale for 60$ free shipping and with like 10k games throughout all systems I am quite happy!

The controller layout seems impractical, same goes to the shoulder buttons. It would be great if they make similar to the Vita with L2 /R2 and L3/R3.
but for the orientation, this works pretty well, i mean most game here except from dreamcast have only single shoulder buttons

Ram isn't the issue. You just need to tweak the emulator. Tons of videos how to do it
