Leaving the gap in the middle is brilliant. I've always left the gap on the top or the bottom and then its a nightmare trying to fit going up a ladder or on neeling the ground
I was thinking it’s easier to leave the gap on the bottom because then you don’t really have to worry about it too much since the trim will cover it. 🤷♀️
Very nice! I recently replaced the tiled ceiling and an area of wall with drywall... I still haven't put mud on it mostly because I figured hiring someone would end up with a better finished product. Glad to see yours coming along!
Are you doing tile or prefab shower and tile surround? One word of advice. Go room by room and check the drywall with a bright light to point out any imperfections in the finish. It will show once you prime the walls but it will make it a little harder for repairs.

I have to ask why would you put drywall anywhere inside the shower enclosure. I was always told you should use cement board, even for the ceiling portion inside a shower stall. Not trying to be a know it all. Just concerned about future moisture damage.

Uummmmm why did they dry walk all the way down when you have to put your baseboards up anyway they should have place them all tight .. but your house not mines
You know that you can give your chicks apple cider vinegar in their water apparently it helps to prevent poop problems that can kill the chicks learned that from someone who has Chickens
We have only had one rooster. He was super mean and freaked me out. He happened to be Rhode Island Red. I was watching a live stream last week with Doug and Stacy. Stacy says Rhode Island Roosters are often very mean. She said for her and many people have told her that also. Just heads up . Let us know if you find that to be true.
The only mean rooster we have had was the barnevelder and they are supposed to be super sweet. We only planned on keeping 2 of them so hopefully we can find a few nice ones out of the 9.
Is it hard to keep your Grand Pyrenees from roaming mine go two and three miles away my family live over on other roads close to me and call me to come get them all the time.
We have never had an issue of either of our boys roaming off property. They roam the back part of the 60 acres but we did neuter them pretty young and they have a lot of animals that they watch, we hope they don't wander off.

Yah base covers the bottom, theres usually 1/2"-1" gap at the bottom purposely for ventilation.

They are only 6 weeks old but the meat birds will go out after it stops raining.
