Great video. I have to stage the level of cot bed. How can it be easily lowered without having to take it apart again please. Brilliant video.

      Hi,
You just unscrew 4x caps on the base, then it lifts off and you remove the hooks, move them to whatever level you desire and screw the caps back on

Really informative video, enjoyed it. When I built our cot bed I built it in the spare room ( nursery not quite ready ). Wouldn’t go through the door.. too wide. All part of the journey. Hope all goes well for the arrival of your little bundle.
Look forward to the next video.

Love the videos… seeing as you love DIY home tech, how about a video on installing a Powrmatic Vision monobloc aircon unit? It’s one that doesn’t need an unsightly condenser fan bolted to the outside of the house.

Thank you, although I am not up on what they are. It is hard to justify air con in the UK. Certainly something that would of been nice the last few days 🙂

Hi - We have a cot from mamas and papas (Heaton) but looks very similar to this one. The circle bolt to connect the headboard and side together how did you do that??? We’re struggling!! Pls help this is the best video I’ve seen so far.

Have you got a list of the fittings for the cot bed? I've only got 2 screw fixings, 4 fixings for the base and 4 wooden pegs. Think I'm missing some fixings (screws etc)

Hi Great Video, really enjoy following your DIY journey in your new house. I've got one question I've noticed you put up 3 small pictures up on the wall. Could you tell me what fittings you used to hang them on ? Was it nails or something more sophisticated 😁 ?

Thank you, thats great to hear.
Something a little more robust/sophisticated haha, if you search for Rawlplug Tap-It fixings. I also did a video on putting similar pictures up in our kitchen.

@@DIYJourney1 thanks so much for a reply. In our current house pretty much all internal walls are made of concrete, so it's kind of obvious what to use to hang things on, however in our new house which we've just bought and still waiting to move into all walls are stud walls hence the question. But thanks anyway and good luck with future projects 😀

The rawlplug tap-it fixings are for stud walls

Thanks for the video, we have the same drawers arriving next week. Did you manage to install the dampers and which ones did you use if so? Thanks.
