Her content is what I call my “napping videos” because they’re so well lit, the audio is soothing, she’s so calm, etc. Except for any drilling or filing with drill bits, I skip those parts 😂
Allison F. Yeah I switch these on to go to sleep to as well lol. I think she needs to branch out into doing audiobook narration. She’s so soothing to listen to, I just want her to read me bed time stories 😂
Thank you for showing that even if the color is off, that can be buffed off during shaping. Thank you for explaining that the monomer can yellow if theres a lot of the monomer. This was the response I was waiting for. I'm a fan of LHPN and I hope that people will put away their pitchforks since Suzie addressed that it can look off color until its shaped. LHPN has been doing her own nails for a long time, so she does know what shes doing, but there were instructions with the product that I'm glad were addressed in this video.
I'm a fan of LHPN too, but let's be honest. She never trained nor studied to be a proffesional. You can do your nails for years and be good, but Suzie is a proffesional technician. There's a reason why people go to school to study this kind of things.
@@MilDarkAngel so true LHPN does beautiful work and doing you own hair and makeup is great if your good at it but when you expect to get paid for your services and work professionally you would know the difference in products especially with a low odor system. Always good to know what you work well with and what works for your clients.
I watched LHPNs review on this kit, and I had to watch Suzies after. I agree with LHPN, her review was very balanced and truthful. This tutorial isnt doing justice for her product.Suzie looks like she is struggling to control the beads. NCE has a good information but this kit may need to be revised, like LHPN said, the monomer is the one playing up. Please take this as constructive critisism.
Just watched this right after the LHPN video & suzie seems like she is trying too hard to redeem her product from that constructive criticism, even she is struggling to use it - as if doing your nails isnt a slow enough process already ?
This is a proffesional working and teaching. A person who trained, studied and has years of exprience. This is the person you want you learn from. BEautiful job Suzie!! My fav nail tech on YT by far!!
I really appreciate the detailed instruction and real-time application. So many videos glaze over important steps or details, don't give good tips and tricks along the way, and speed things up too much. Also, as you mentioned, the formal training and extensive real life experience shows. I'm not saying a technically 'amateur' artist can't be amazingly skilled and practiced but I see many who are obviously just winging it and can often give out some totally inaccurate information, which is frustrating. I started off watching Suzie's videos just for entertainment and relaxation. My extent of home nail enhancement experience (beyond regular polish) was glue-ons in the 90's and more recently doing gel polish myself. Then I decided to make a splurge and try acrylics again for the first time in almost 20yrs. Suzie's info and example helped me find a quality tech/artist I could trust. Fell in love and have had them for a year. Now with the current state of things I obviously can't get to my guy (I actually have to drive an hour to another state for a good tech!) so I am putting together the info from the gazillion NCE videos I have watched to start learning to do them myself for a while (at least just an overlay and fills to get me by... we'll see if I get good enough and have the time to keep doing my own or not once it is safe to see a pro again)
I've been furiously watching Suzie's videos to learn how to do my own acrylics. I'm definitely still getting the basics down, but I'm happy to report that I'm getting better! Nothing better than learning from a pro. My nails ALMOST look like I know what I'm doing.
Just keep going and remember that adding sparkle covers every mistake in any cosmetic application you are ever doing be it eyes, cheeks, a bad stitch, or a nail that isnt quite right! ☺ My first couple tries were good on opposite hand but non dominant hand was a wreck! Made no sense. For me, it was messing with things too much. On my opposite hand I quit the nail before adding too much or filing too much. Once I figured that out, things got easier. Haha And then I discovered gel! Thank god my skin caht handle it because it's just so tempting! Lol! Good luck! You'll get them perfect soon I know it!
Well done you, I also have been watching Suzie for over a year, and having never done my own nails before, I am getting quite experimental, it's exciting.
I just tried this method 2 days ago! I became a nail tech 2 years ago, and we were NEVER taught how to do our pink and whites this way. We were only taught traditional, and to only ever do them traditional. Learning how to do the reverse was actually so helpful, easier, and taught me other aspects of nails that was never covered when learning the other way. Thanks for this Suzie! Hope you're doing well
I wish other people who have purchased and using the odorless comment on that it really is odorless. Not that Susie would lie, but she is used to regular acrylics. I want the acrylic but it has to be order less. Thank you, Phyllis
I so, so want to buy her kit...I have actually been fascinated by this since the first time I had my nails done, lol.🙂 But I can't justify the expense right now. ☹
I'm one of those girls who only wears my nails in a french style. I love different colors but my favorite is this one. I can't wait to start learning how to do my own nails. Great instructions in today's video. Thank you Suzie! Stay safe and be cautious. 🇨🇦❤🐾
Her soothing voice, how she explains the steps, how she works the brush and creates this art is so MESMERIZING 😍Glad I found this channel! It’s therapeutic for me! 🥰 I’ve am trying to learn how to do acrylic nails and this woman has an amazing craft !
I wonder why this technique is the reverse method when it seems more logical to do it this way than laying down the white first ( at least that's what I think, LOL). Great Video Ms. Suzie, very informative. Congratulations on the launch of your new collection.
If you've got a steady hand you can easily just paint the tip with some white gel polish. It's a lot faster, but it takes some practice, especially if you're doing your own nails.
Hey Suzie! LONG time viewer, 1st time commenting... I'm fairly positive that Greg Salo from Young Nails created the reverse technique. Along with ALL of ur videos, I've binge watched YN's as well, & I'm 99% sure his brother Habib stated it was Greg who created the reverse style. Excellent way of explaining how to use this product line. All the videos I have watched from this channel, explains the importance of following the direction of the product that is purchased. Your videos are amazing!
I loooooooove the music in this video!!! Thank you Suzie! Of course I love the video already... ! Very helpful! Thank you sooooooo much for everything you re teaching us!
Omg Suzie, im so excited to start learning how to do my own nails. I have been watching your videos for the past 2-3 years and I have been obsessed. I even thought about taking nail classes.
I just got my new kit. The smell is amazingly good. I did try other kits, but can't handle the smell, so have not been able to use it. Thank you for such amazing product. The sad part is my kit came with the bottle somewhat open, so I got half a bottle, and I could tell it was open the smell was good. It did come in a bubble envelop, but the bottle was opened. I was sad, since the cost is outside my budget, but I will enjoy what I got while it lasts. I am not a nail tech, but have been learning from Suzie for years. I wanted to learn acrylic.
I ordered both the acrylic kit & the file + brush kit on Sunday, the file + brush has already arrived so I’m super excited for the acrylic kit to get here! My mum loves the files so I’ll be ordering her a set of them for Mother’s Day
Those auto “paper towels” are called Shop towels by the brand Scott. You can get them in Canada at Canadian Tire and Partsource for sure (I used to work there) and some other auto stores. I just wanted to share in case anyone was interested in the exact brand and product Susie is talking about 😊
I think i have watched all your videos now, I love them. Your inlays are the best ive seen on youtube . I've always love doing nails and have been practicing over the last few months. This non smell sounds so awesome and i have just ordered this new starter kit and im so excited for it to come. After being in lockdown for over a month having something to look forward to spend my time doing is a real life saver! The price is amazing for the amount of stuff you get in the kit. I have spend so much on the cheaper really poor quality kits with half the amount of powder in those rubbish white containers. Id love to see a video on the comparison of different brand/off brand gel polishes. Thanks suzie
In regards to the LHPN review, I think what made people mad was how Suzie came off when about how it turned yellow in her video. Some think she came off as being snobby I guess but to be fair people can misconstrue words over text versus real life. I'm fairly certain Eve didn't file the nail she did using Suzie's monomer so while it did look discolored it would have looked better after some filing. I did notice that even in this video Suzie's nail did still look a little discolored but to be honest, it could have everything to do with how her monomer is made. It could be a trade-off of being such a slow setting powder and personally, I'm totally fine with that since I'm a mad Holosexual (Shout out to Cristine!!) and I want to be able to extend my nails out for more holo goodness (My nails grow funny). I've just started using polygel but I would love to practice with acrylic once I get the funds to buy this set and the brush.
But she should send instructions on what to do when it does happen in the kit. She didn’t do that. Evie used the products how she would just like I did and they still yellowed. Now on Instagram Suzie said to wash off the layer so I’ll try that but idk how that’s gonna work. I love the acrylic powders I just hope she makes a video on different ways to get rid of the yellow ness. She also shouldn’t have said it was nonyellowing if it is.
I had a nail tech in hoover Alabama do my French manicure this way about 4 years ago. It turned out so beautiful!!! I wondered why more nail techs weren’t doing this technique ❤️
I love your videos. You’re my favorite nail tech to watch because you always give a little extra tips and tricks throughout the videos that are Really helpful
I left this as a reply to you but I want to leave it as a regular comment as well: LHPN purchased the products before you posted a video (as did a lot of other people) if this was a beginner package why didn’t it come with an instruction booklet explaining the dispersion layer? Why insinuate she’s to blame for using the product incorrectly when there was no video or instruction at the time she purchased? It’s easy to blame LHPN aka the customer but the fact of the matter is the company (aka you) sold a product, failed to provide proper information & instruction of said product then blamed the customer for not having the information you failed to provide. As a company selling a product you have to be open to criticism & you should be able to acknowledge when you’ve made a mistake, blaming the customer just isn’t the way to go.
Im sorry things have gotten way out of hand. I did not call anyone “unprofessional”. I wouldn’t say that about anyone. In fact i didnt address lhpn specifically. I just heard someone was having difficulty with the l&p and i referred to a bead can do that if someone is having trouble with it. It doesnt come with Prep or Prime- bc it is a practice kit- to practice l&p before working on people- thats the concept behind my teaching method- so many apply product right to the nail which is not a good idea when first learning. I released it asap bc of the current world situation people were desperately seeking no odour- so we decided to release- there were instructions on the website as they purchased but i have improved since plus we made a video as fast as we could- i thanked lhpn for her review, it helped me be more clear in my marketing. Im saddened by those who are misquoting both of us. We are both doing our best😊
@@krushibhakta6895 in her previous video about her product, people were bringing up lhpn issues with he product. Suzie did reply to a few comments that were specific to lhpn saying that it was a lack of experience and education that caused the issues. This is what people are referring to. The comment replys are still there of you want to look
TheNormalOddball I have watched so many of Suzie’s videos and I too have done acrylic nails since the 80’s. The following Suzie has is quite outstanding! At this point everyone who has watched her videos know what to do but need practice. This Video and so many other ones she has made through the years is for helping. Sorry, that you are unhappy but In defense for Suzie. She has made so many informative videos for people to do their own nails. I thinks she deserves respect and thanks. I’m sure I’m not the only pro nail tech that has learned a lot from her. Thank you Suzie you are truly gifted in your art.
Maria Giametta her kit didn’t come with an instruction booklet and she didn’t have a video at the time. making it hard for actual beginners to learn. she should have been able to take constructive criticism to make her products better. she also should have labeled it as *may yellow* . the bottle said non yellowing. it was false advertising.
T’s World I didn’t read any negativity on her part. So you are a unhappy customer. Sorry, it happens but in reality if you have no experience at all you have no business criticizing. It is not easy to do and yes watching you tube may make it look like you can do it. She has so many videos on doing acrylic and other products.
I just watched the Jenna Marbles video you referenced and was laughing hysterically at it. I can totally relate to it though as I tried doing my own acrylic nails a few years ago without watching you and learning from you. Mine back then we’re almost as bad and thick as Jenna’s. Now I can honestly say mine look pretty darn good and way better than they did back then. I am still learning and loving it . Thanks for the laughs and please keep posting your videos. I learn so much from them and love your videos.
Thanks for showing us how you designed this acrylic line and how we are supposed to use it.. I'm a beginner and that slow setting acrylic certainly helps me. You are a wonderful teacher and classy lady.
OMG I love this kit. It is very very slow drying. It is so different from regular monomer. And you really do need the tiniest amount to do a whole set. I played with it for the first time yesterday and did a set on myself and filled my boss's nails since all the salons are closed right now and they were hanging on to dear life lol. She loved them. I'm still waiting for customer service to get back to me on my leaked monomer.
Thats Awesome Shelby- im glad your loving my kit. As for the leak ive contacted them - they are very short staffed and experiencing very high volume- thank you so much for their patience 🏡💜
@@NailCareerEducation I guessed they were probably short staffed. Thank you for getting in touch with them 😊❤️ Also I really do want to say thank you for making great educational videos. You are the one who got me into doing my nails.
Hi Suzie! ☺️have you heard of “slim nails technique” ? It is veeery popular in Romania, and I honestly don’t see any fuss about it in any other country. I would love to see you try it❤️it basically involves placing the form at an angle, so the end result of the nail is perfectly straight from cuticle to the tip (it has just a small apex near the cuticle). It gives the ilusion of thin, natural nails
Wow, that's really interesting I'm not about the bulky apex lol. Are the nails more on the shorter side bc the apex is smaller? Or do they use a certain system that is harder than most acrylics so the nails won't break?
Yareli Vega well with this technique we usually use polygel/acrygel or gel. In Romania we don’t really use acrylic that much. We don’t go very long with this technique (like Suzie has in this video), but I think it would be long-lasting even if we did
I won't need to ever pay for classes with all of this free info! I'll be a nail technician just from watching all your videos! And the makeup tutorials and Brad Mondo's videos 😂
The difference between a pro nail tech and someone that does nails for themselves is that all the information you give to help us! I love all your videos, your videos are always about how i can improve my technique and not so much about reviewing products. Instead of just bashing and mean comment about someone else products you always find a ways to teach us how to work through the problems! And for that you have become my to go when learning HOW TO DO NAILS! It's not the same when you have been doing your own nails for a few yrs as to someone that actually when to school and has 30+ years of experience! Love you!
Its unfortunate that LHPN and i didnt connect before- too much of any monomer will discolour- its a dispersion layer not unlike gel- simply buff off and file as usual. It shows im on the right track with education. I do take responsibility of having product avail before getting more vids up- i think it added to the confusion - but im learning too
If u watched longhair prettynail video she actually praised Susie and the product she didn’t bash it at all. I didn’t leave the video w/ the impression that susies product was bad at all🤷🏾♀️. U clearly don’t like evie from LHPN, so just say u don’t like her and go. No need for the false narrative that she bashed her cuz she didn’t go rewatch it
No one bashed anything.... maybe you should take a page out of Suzie’s book and acknowledge maybe having connected to properly go over the best way to use her products might have been best. Chill there.
__jax_x the original comment said that there was bashing (in presumably LHPN’S video) and THERE WAS NOT. Go watch Evie’s video and you’ll hear her tone and intention was not to bash. and that’s a fact. I didn’t pull that out of thin air, the original person brought it up first 😂and I kindly corrected her and I’ll correct u too. If it’s a beginner product yet u shouldn’t have to be any type of “professional” to use it. Let’s not act like Evie from LHPN has NO experience w/beads and acrylics. Try again beloved 😘
Suzie bringing the quarantine content we all need! I’ve just started playing with Polygel and I really enjoy how much time I get to play with the product before curing it. Your slow curing monomer could be what I need to finally try out acrylic. Do you sell your kits in the UK? I wouldn’t trust anyone else’s brand!
Love you Suzie! you are a great nail tech and one I admire and refer to when doing my DIYs. I never tried acrylic for fear of the fast dry time. Shoot, it takes me like 5 minutes to apply polygel! So your slow setting starter kit is what I need. Ordered and waiting!
All you gotta do is ask for blue shop towels on the roll in the auto department...I've been using these exact ones since I began watching you they are wonderful ....I love watching your videos they are always so well presented and very informative keep up the good work chicka...your amazing..
Suzie! I just figured out something interesting! So I wondered why most sets of poly come with the dual form papers.. usually for sculpting with acrylic powder right?🤩so if you are about to fill-in a pop it and put on the dual form ALSO…you’ll perfect the under side of the pop it without having to manipulate underneath before curing!🤣that’s it!
Thanks, Suzie!! I love the pink and whites...so classy!! Thanks for all u do for us and u teach us so we'll!! Thank you for talking to me on ur live yesterday...that was fun! Much love 💖💖💖💅

I will for sure email their cuatomer service. The product smells so much better than others, it also feels a little oily, which was unexpected.

Hi Suzie! I love your channel! All quarantine I have been watching your old videos!
Hi Suzie, loving your teaching videos..I'm learning so much from you ❤
I LOVE this and I love that you care so much about nail education!!!
So pretty, so helpful. Such an inspiration! A real role model for my channel, and as a nail tech in general! 😍
Love love your nails and your lights
Love Your videos! You are my favourite nail TH-camr
Yes text tone & real life is not same
But she should send instructions on what to do when it does happen in the kit.
I saw another review and it really does turn yellow
Junie Don if it’s a problem she should remove it either non yellowing or have to be normal odour or clearer instructions
Im lost but I want to be up to date with the drama
I had a nail tech in hoover Alabama do my French manicure this way about 4 years ago. It turned out so beautiful!!! I wondered why more nail techs weren’t doing this technique ❤️
I love your videos. You’re my favorite nail tech to watch because you always give a little extra tips and tricks throughout the videos that are Really helpful
Her videos are all so soothing ☺️☺️☺️☺️
You are so professional and just a nice person to listen to.
That choice of music...love it!💖💖 Thanks Suzie for keeping us inspired with such lovely vids!
thank you for these videos! they are making quarantine 1000x better
Thank you for getting in touch with them 😊❤️
Also I really do want to say thank you for making great educational videos. You are the one who got me into doing my nails.
Absolutely gorgeous
I love french nails
Very educational! Thanks Suzie 😘🤗
We don’t go very long with this technique (like Suzie has in this video), but I think it would be long-lasting even if we did
Yareli Vega if you search “slim nails” on youtube I’m sure you will see a couple of videos so you can see how it looks
@@lauramalos1584 oh cool that makes more sense to use gel. Thanks girl!💕
I love the background track 😍😍😍😍😍it goes soooo well with you are doing
I won't need to ever pay for classes with all of this free info! I'll be a nail technician just from watching all your videos! And the makeup tutorials and Brad Mondo's videos 😂
Yaaaaay more suzie!!!!! 😂😂😂
Great video as always. And that music brings me back to getting a resort 💆♂️ massage. Love it
The difference between a pro nail tech and someone that does nails for themselves is that all the information you give to help us! Love you!
So the yellow tint was everyone's imagination because we don't have 30 years of experience? Please stop.
Awesome!! Thank you Suzie!!
I love your videos so much, your voice is so soothing!! I'm finding it so hard for my channel to take off and you've done amazing
love this style in this particular shape
Stunning
Omg new video so cool can’t wait to see it ps ik ben van België 🇧🇪 wij kijken je video’s ook allemaal
This video is sooo calming ur voice is so calming like omg
Me wishing there was a kit to buy. Oh yay 😀 here it is!
Congratulations Suzie!! 💕🎉So proud of you launching your own collection! Ive been watching you for years and You deserve it 🎉💕
Suzie, you are a very professional nail tech.
Beautiful as always!!
Very professional, Suzie.
You make it look so beautiful and easy!! Love it.
Hi suzie if I do gel nail extensions can I put a normal polish on it aloud to dry completely then puts gel top coat on.
Hey, yes you can, I used to do that a lot when I was first starting 🙆♀️
Yes, just make sure the polish is COMPLETELY dry before you top coat. Otherwise your gel top coat will wrinkle.
Thank you for your replys
Nice video thanks for showing!
This is mesmerizing
Great vid Suzie as usual. You make feel I can do anything at my first attempt 😁
Think it really great for people like me to learn how to use acrylic.
Hello I am a Korean nailist. I was looking for a video while searching for a Pixine, but I am so pretty. I will come to play often ^^
This is such a phenomenal idea Suzie. Luv it 😘❤
Suzie bringing the quarantine content we all need! I’ve just started playing with Polygel and I really enjoy how much time I get to play with the product before curing it. Your slow curing monomer could be what I need to finally try out acrylic. Do you sell your kits in the UK? I wouldn’t trust anyone else’s brand!
I'm always following your ideas as I'm learning to do what you are 🙂
Love you Suzie! you are a great nail tech and one I admire and refer to when doing my DIYs. I never tried acrylic for fear of the fast dry time. Shoot, it takes me like 5 minutes to apply polygel! So your slow setting starter kit is what I need. Ordered and waiting!
Suzie, I love your videos! You make me feel like I can do anything. Love it!
Just pulled the trigger and purchased your brush. Can’t wait to receive it and start practicing❤️
All you gotta do is ask for blue shop towels on the roll in the auto department...I've been using these exact ones since I began watching you they are wonderful ....I love watching your videos they are always so well presented and very informative keep up the good work chicka...your amazing..
Excited for this! I know you’re gonna kill it 💜
Glad you post these videos cause I really need to do my nails
If you ever do a zoom cast that would be the best thing ever 😭 need to get this stuff and try it out you’re so helpful for me
Yaass!
Beautiful Suzy
Congrats on your line, Suzie! Been waiting for it and I'm so happy for you! You deserve all the success! Love your videos! :)
Thank you. Love it 😀
Let me get this straight, you created a $100 nail kit so people can practice on a piece of paper? What?
exactly. and you can get a better kit with more included for cheaper
😳😬😂
You can use the products on your own nails also
@@Theresa5601 Yeah I know that
So pretty suzie!!❤
thank you for sharing your experience with us ... you do great job ...
Your video's are relaxing! I don't do my nails but it's entertaining to watch and the sound is relaxing! Am I weird?
Jessica Martinez Hernandez I’m the same!!
Thanks, Suzie!! I love the pink and whites...so classy!! Thanks for all u do for us and u teach us so we'll!! Thank you for talking to me on ur live yesterday...that was fun! Much love 💖💖💖💅
Very nice!!! TY
Amazing stuff Suzie😍😍 thanks for this
