i love it when my son asked the same thing he fell asleep we were on a road king and i felt his head move sideways , i pulled up and we had a break and off again , hope she enjoys it and good on you for giving her the oportunity to ride with her dad.
That was great to watch, Shaun. The most important thing to keep in mind, is that Emma's life is literally in your hands. Been following yours and Andy's adventures for a couple of years now and just subscribed to both channels. Got me reminiscing about my daughter's first ride as a 12 year-old pillion, about 5 years ago, on my Suzuki GS500F. She's decided since, that it's not for her, but I treasure the time we did spend together. Those memories are truly priceless. Thanks again, mate.
I thought you would never top the Christmas ride vid, but this is something else. That girl is hooked 👌plus since you are posting this it means you're wife didn't kill you 🤣
You are definitely living up to your TH-cam name, most definitely an awesome and responsible dad, epic memory's for you both. Man I have no kids but you both melt my heart. I remember when my father, mother, nan, and now wife on there individual first rides. Very special. Emm is an epic pillion.
Well don’t I feel old, took my granddaughter out first weekend of the UK ease up. She is 13 and spent almost as long as the ride took sorting her hair out when we got back. Golden moments to cherish, thanks for sharing. 👍
I really like your choice of music again and it was a lovely touch to get Emma waving at other bikers. Thank you for another very enjoyable upload 👍🏻👌🏼
Great to see and a good feeling as a father. My daughter used to come out with me but alas when she hit the teen years she stopped as she wasn’t happy with getting helmet hair 😄
Hi Emma from Aus, I had a huge grin for the whole vid, reminds me of when my step daughter rode with me, but alas she’s grown up and has her own family. My rules have always been “no gear, no ride”.
Wow, Emma's a great pillion, She seemed to enjoy that short ride. Well done Shaun in not scaring her off like so many idiots out there. Well done. Thanks for sharing that it really brighten my day.
Wie schön, Emma, dass dein Vater dich mitgenommen hat auf seinem Motorrad! So eine schöne Tour zusammen gemacht! Nice video, Mr Likeable! My boy is almost old enough to ride with me. Can't wait!
Just watching all your videos. This one is so cute. I remember first time i took my son out. Chatting away. These are the days you will cherish. Such a brill video. One of the best on youtube.
Well, Emma looked like she had been doing that for years! Well done Emma! I wasn't sure about getting her to wave so soon, but I needn't have worried, she was as cool as a cucumber, and it all adds to the biking experience. I bet some of those bikers coming in the opposite direction were having a 'double take' as she was waving. Cheered my day up that's for sure. She'll be having you collect her from school on it next! Coolest school run ever.
Thank you for sharing this once in a lifetime experience-Emma's first ride on Dad's motorbike. I took my daughter for rides (she's 38 yo now) but it's not her thing. She enjoys hiking and camping, much like I enjoy two wheels. Cheers.
Emma is a champ! Definitely get them started young and get them properly geared up. My daughter also loves going on the bike but my Z1000SX has grab rails and I've fitted a top box with a back rest. Great video!
Great video. About 11 years ago I started taking my oldest boy (who is autistic) on the back of a Harley ultra glide I had, like Emma he had all the gear on, and he liked it, got home and my twin girls who were 7 at the time said they wanted a go, so put them into the gear and off we went and they loved it. Last year they each got a 125cc but want to upgrade in a couple of years when they get their A2 and who knows , maybe we can get to ride to Germany ( lived there when I was much younger). Good on you for taking emma out and good on her for wanting to go with you and enjoying it
Hi from down under Australia - It’s great to see you getting your daughter involved mate , I very rarely get to ride without my 15 year old daughter coming with me , let’s hope Emma accompanys you on more rides in the future , keep the vids coming , I always look forward to watching them.
Nice one Shaun and well done Emma i bet you really enjoyed that, it sure looked like you have fun well done shaun brilliant too watch. Regards Glenn.👍👍
Great footage with Emmmaaaaa🙂 how sweet 🤩She's ready to ride 🙂 thanks for that. Hope you enjoy more rides with your little one 😊😊 and let us see more of your wonderful recordings.
That's so nice to watch, looks like she enjoyed it, and great to see het little arms doing the wave with you 🙂, my daughter's were sadly never interested in getting on the back of my bike, they have taken after their mother who has also never joined me on a ride, except for getting on the back of a scooter we rented in Malaysia. Thanks for sharing 👍
As a new subscriber I was looking through your back library and found this one. It put a big smile on my face 😃! Young Emma did a fantastic job for her first ride 👍!!! Looking forward to many more of your “adventures “ with Emma😉.
Das war super süß und hat mir jetzt kurz vor dem Schlafen noch ein Lächeln auf‘s Gesicht gezaubert. Und ich schreibe das auf deutsch, damit Emma es selbst lesen kann... And, BTW, your German is pretty good!
Well done! Great to see her well-trained in waving! Mine is now 17, in full leathers on the back and can't wait to turn 18 to start riding. Wish you many safe rides!
Well done, Emma! Lump in throat stuff. My daughter is 13 and shows no interest in riding pillion. I don’t pressure her since I’d feel awful if something happened subsequently. Lovely to be able to share your passion. Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant👍🏻 I remember the first time my dad took me out on his bike when we were based in London on his Yellow Honda CB400 tt. Fast forward to 2014 and my daughter wanted to go out on the bike with me. She is now learning to drive, not interested in learning to ride motorcycles just yet though.
What an absolutely lovely video, had me welling up remembering taking my two out for the first time, what a delightful young lady she is. Still ride out with my lad - slightly more challenging when you're 65 and they're six foot and 13 stone (that's 1.83m and 71kg in new money lol) but still wouldn't miss it. Made my day.
@@thelikeablerider8800 He'd certainly be a challenge on the back of the KTM! My recent bike choice has been very much coloured by trying to make room for him...
Such a special day for you both and you've fair near put a tear in my eye ya bugger. I remember the first time my pair went on the back, not at the same time!! 😆,reckon about the same age as Emma. Few years ago my son then 14 went around Europe with me on my R1200gs. Of all my motorcycle trips that's the special one by a country mile.
My biking passion started on the back of my dads fire blade and my step dads Ducati. I look forward to sharing the same with my son in a few years. Great video as always
Thank you Jordan! Unfortunately it's not something I ever got to do when I was young. I'm the only one that rides in my family. Mother was strictly against it🤦♂️
I remember it very well, when I was first sitting on the backseat of my fathers Ducati 450 Desmo (a crap-bike but that sound - omg). And so the addiction started :-) Great vid - thanks for the memories!
Well done Emma! Hopefully we'll see some more trips with 'The Likeable Pillion'
I'm sure they'll be more to come👍😜
I remember those days, but now they ride with me on their own bikes 👍🏻
Thats the plan👍😜
i love it when my son asked the same thing he fell asleep we were on a road king and i felt his head move sideways , i pulled up and we had a break and off again , hope she enjoys it and good on you for giving her the oportunity to ride with her dad.
Wasn't sure I'd enjoy this one - but I loved it - the joy of seeing a youngster on their very first ride out. Brilliant !!
Thank you Geoff! I wasn't sure how people would react, but its 100% positive thus far!
I loved that. A privilege to join your daughter on her induction to becoming a biker. Top job by both of you 👍
That was great to watch, Shaun. The most important thing to keep in mind, is that Emma's life is literally in your hands.

Well don’t I feel old, took my granddaughter out first weekend of the UK ease up. She is 13 and spent almost as long as the ride took sorting her hair out when we got back. Golden moments to cherish, thanks for sharing. 👍
Yes I'm sure the days will come where hamlet hair will become an issue. Or she wont care, hopefully the later!😜
Epic, such a treasure being able to share with those we love, well done Emma, thank you Sean

👍 Way to go, Emm!!! 👍
I really like your choice of music again and it was a lovely touch to get Emma waving at other bikers. Thank you for another very enjoyable upload 👍🏻👌🏼
Many thanks James, its important to teach them the biking etiquette😜
Great to see and a good feeling as a father. My daughter used to come out with me but alas when she hit the teen years she stopped as she wasn’t happy with getting helmet hair 😄
Was an emotional edit! Yes the helmet hair could become a thing😂
Hi Emma from Aus, I had a huge grin for the whole vid, reminds me of when my step daughter rode with me, but alas she’s grown up and has her own family. My rules have always been “no gear, no ride”.

Aahhh what a beautiful video. I teared up a lil. Reminds me of me and my old men last time
13 years later and the wallpaper on my phone is the picture of my daughter first ride with me. Keep having fun!
OMG, how cute is this video and I especially loved the biker waves. Emms rocks. Great video, and such a joyful thing to watch.
Thank you David! Be fitting for such hard times I feel.
Loved this! Beautifully captured
Thanks a ton!

Thank you Shawn! Its important to do it right, its dangerous enough as it is!
I can’t wait to do this with my pair.. hopefully they enjoy bikes because I’ve got plenty planned for when they do 🤞🏻
I hope so too!
Brilliant, Reminds me when I used take my youngest daughter out. She’s 27 and still rides with me.

Enjoyed watching as like everyone else brought back memories from when I used to take my son out on the Bike. Great vid.
