I remember my dad putting me on the tank of his bike and taking me for a ride. It felt like we were magically gliding effortlessly. I was about 5-6. I will never forget it. I lost my dad a year ago so this was an emotional one for me. I now have a few bikes and little ones of my own.
i teared up , father of 4 girls and they're only humans that draw out my emotions. i used to ride sports ikes and was never comfortable with the idea of letting them ride when they was younger despite their pleas. sold my bike and my oldest is now 21 and to this day 16 years later they beg me to get another bike and take them on rides. my 13 year old sees old photos and constantly pressures me into going to buy a bike.
I used to take both my kids on the back of my Laverda. My daughter was probably about the same age as yours and all she wanted to do was go faster! Great memories that we still talk about 25 years later.
Took my Grandson who is 8 out on my Honda 750 and he was very nervous beforehand but loved it and now wants to go out on it all the time. Just be extra extra careful and enjoy, it is such a special feeling.
thats fantastic i can remember being behind my dad at seven, you can get a pillion strap they go around the rider with a couple of handles it might be easier for her.
Well double H your video brought back so many happy memories my 8 year old daughter on the back my 5 year old son sitting on the petrol tank holding onto the handlebars of a ' 71 1200 FLH. Ride and be safe kiddo Ron from Ireland 🇮🇪.
Love it love it love it! Just started riding my son, he is 6. Just riding him on my dual sport now on local roads right around the house. But I’m going to start riding him on my Triumph soon so he can go with me on charity rides and rides with friends. He has his own Honda 50 dirt bike and rides it well so he understands how crucial it is to hold on. It is so good to see others riding their children! Subbing now! Cheers!
I bought a helmet for my son today and am now waiting for the passenger seat and carrier to arrive. I can't wait to take him on his first ride on my Honda Rebel 300!
Beautiful memories to make I can still remember the first ride will all my kids , only tip I can give you is get yourself some buddy handles it will make a massive difference to how she sits and holds on 😎👌
Ready to have my daughter on the back with me but she is scared. Can you please pass on a big thanks to you little girl for relieving her fears. Only thing is, i have a hayabusa. 😅 great video! Thank you!
What a lovely video 💙 My 7 year old has been asking for some time and you're right it is a very special feeling having them tag along. Been out 3 Sundays in a row now, got her some proper kit and she's already asked when can we go away for the weekend.
Tears in my eyes. Today is the day me and my girl, 8 years old, are going for a ride for the first time. Yesterday we bought a helmet, a jacket and trousers, gloves and earplugs. I also bought ridersgrip to ensure she can hold on to dad. First we go around the bike, discussing how she should behave, what the exhaust is etc. And yes, we also make some rules about tapping on the back. She is so excited, she's smiling and jumping around whole morning ❤
i took my lil daughter as soon as her feet touched the rear pegs..she was 4 yrs old, i drove in the car 8 hour round trip to a baby biker store in 1997, fitted her little frame with full 2 piece suit, back protector, full body armour , boots ,gloves and helmet..she loved it on the back of my ZX9R only riding slowly with me having a belt with handles on for her to hold, only problem i had was with asshole comments from non biking peeps as in "he is not putting that little girl on the back of THAT bike"..i just used to turn around and say "sooner she was on the back of my bike, than being in the back seat of a car with an asshole like you, she is wearing full body armoured biking gear that cost a lot more than the shit that your are wearing, so fck off" never got any hassle after that 🤣 my daughter is now 29 yrs old with 2 kids and she still will have a ride off with her dad 🥰 ..my grandkids are not too sure but i wont force them to go pillion, it's up to them..still got the belt with the love handles waiting and willing to buy more biking gear to keep them safe ❤ buy a belt with the love handles on them, makes them more secure m8 as their small arms dont need to hold you around the waist 👍
Thank you so much for watching and support the channel 👍

Sensible riding. I wouldn’t dare risk taking my grandkids on the back though
This is adorable. Thanks for sharing 🙏💛🏍️

My almost 8 year old is sad she's not tall or strong enough to take off on my 1200GS by herself.
I'm not sad at all about that.
So it’s not just me 😅 I swear she ask’s every time. And every time I have to say no 😢
I always wanted a father who has got a motorcycle
