Would be cool if you added different types of monsters. For example, a bigger monster that moves slower, but you have to screenshot it more than once to capture it
It was dark. Mold spores zipping in the heavy, moist air. It reeks of oil and corrosion. The only thing I could reach from my pocket is an old camera, fingertips on the leathery case. The floor was this, repetitive square pattern. Where am I? Under me was a plastic but seemingly sturdy platform, with a black ring embedded on it. This hissing sound, like compressed air leaking out a pipe, ringed my ears. I look around in a hurried state, neck snapping to directions of this desolate area. But the hiss did not stop. I open my camera, and put my eye infront of the screen. Along with the gloomy space, a white, deranged human head widened my eyes and... I just froze. I couldn't do anything, but take a picture. --Floating Gigachad/TheOriginalLamp
sitting on a sun chair, laying back next to an umbrella, huge shades on and the sand next to the shore, sun out drinking a big glass of lemonade and doing what not
Idea. What if you were on a part where you can't move and you have to look in all directions for the monster and take a screenshot. Each time he gets scarier and scarier until he dies and you win. He starts off as a wholesome innocent looking character that slowly gets more unnerving with each screenshot
To the people who haven't seen much of this game yet, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PLAY IT THEN WATCH THE VIDEO ONCE YOU ARE DONE because this was actually pretty damn scary great job!
Im pretty sure theres a game similar to this idea, or at least it has a gamemode that follows the premise of you getting a camera and have to take photos of the monster to ward it off. Its called It Steals if you want to check it out.
You made me want to make a really cool game with a concept I dont think I've ever seen before but Ive basically never coded anything in my entire life lmao I'm considering buying the course, but could you tell me honestly how hard is it to actually begin and how long it takes. I learn pretty easily and quickly so this shouldn't be a problem but 30$ is quite a bit in my country otherwise I would've already bought it probably (fine I'm just broke lol)
Scripting in lua (the roblox programming language) is pretty simple and I learned to script kind of good in a month or two I learned by watching TH-cam tutorials and exploring different functions and properties through the autocorrect feature, I have not bought his course and I do not know what it teaches you, but if you are short on money, I think it would be possible to learn outside of paid courses. But the course could very well be a better and faster way.
there isn't a 'how long it takes'. the more you code and develop, the more experience you gain. there really is no limit on how much you could learn. even developers that have been coding for tens of years can learn something new. experience and time is the biggest factor in becoming a developer. just keep learning and making things, then you'll eventually reach a level you're comfortable with. luau is also one of the easiest languages to learn, but that in itself is also a drawback. you'll see what i mean when you get to that part 😓
