After 20 hours of highly opinionated videos, I found yours. Search over. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!! This literally explain led my life this week. Wish I had found you earlier!! Great stuff!!
Agitation of the water surface to aid gas exchange helps a lot...solvable with air bubbles from an air pump, or with the outflow outlet near the water surface (in an external filter).

I’m glad my wife found this video , she kept making me mad about the cloudy water , I kept telling her let it be , it will go away , I just didn’t know the specifics , but here we are . Thanks man .
I've never had this with a tank before. Changed products for my starting bateria. Cycled the tank. Added srock then look like milk got poured in! Thank goodness I found this video. Been freaking out.
I just set up my first planted tank yesterday and I woke up this morning to my water being really cloudy. So of course, I went to TH-cam. Thankfully, I clicked on your video first. This helped me so much! Thanks!! Keep it up!
Thank you! You set my mind at ease, I was ready to pull apart and clean everything thinking I had somehow missed a crucial setup step with my new aquarium. Week two of cloudy water got me worried.
I'm glad I could be helpful and save you some time. I would test the water and see how far along your tank is on the cycle. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I just purchased a 65 gal tank and in about 3 days it turned cloudy. I'm waiting about a week to add fish and didnt understand why this happened. Glad I ran across your video, good information. Thanks for sharing!
Same I just bought a 30 gallon tank and it turned cloudy right after three days, I don’t even have fish yet either . I ended up taking out the water, washed the props , plants , and gravel because I thought they were making the water dirty . 😂
Thank you so much. I thought I had done something wrong. Now I will leaving alone and wait and see the results. I will let you know when my tank clears up. Thanks again great info
Same problem I have right now with my "NEW" 50gal fish tank. I wonder why it gets cloudy with just 4 fish swimming around. At first, I use 600L/hr pump which is weak but I replaced it with 2500L/hr submersible pump. I still have a cloudy aquarium in day 3. I dont know what to do, until I watch this video. This really make sense. "Doing nothing is better than doing something" I will let it sit and do less feeding for now, and allow itself to cycle. Thank You Tropical fish guy. Your explanation is pretty straight forward. Two thumbs up!!
I just went from a 10 gallon tank to a 20 gallon for 2 goldfish. Their 10 gallon I couldn't keep the tank from turning green. Now 2 days after being in a brand new 20 gallon tank they are cloudy. I hope this goes away. I'm about to put these fish in my pond.
Absolutely spot on. I've done too much instead of being patient and the bloom keeps coming back. Nearly used water clarifier as well. Now I'm just testing water for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate daily plus weekly water changes (unless there Ammonia and Nitrite goes above 0ppm). Also bought gravel vac to help clean my sand substrate. I was also confused by some sources saying bacterial bloom only lasts 1-2 days whichi is not true.
You made me feel better, I was stressed I bought a new tank, yes, beginner, cloudy tank made me want to scream, thank you for letting me know to relax!!
Just got my First ever 37 gallon fish tank. Added 4 fish, tank got cloudy , and now I know why. Gotta get me a test kit. Thanks for sharing indeed. Now subscribed and notified .
Thank you sir! Im a new Beta-fish owner and had my betafish Mildred for about 1 week and a half now. (My first fish, Millie, sadly died) I got Millie the day i got my braces! And now Mildred is with me. I cleaned my first time today and i think i did pretty good, i started getting nervous about the water because it looked almost a tad bit cloudy. But after watching a bit of this it helped! Thanks!
I recently set up a 20 gallon tank. First few days after setting it up with plants, woods and rocks I left the light on for a little too long throughout the day and I came home to my tank fully cloudy. I realised the plants had started to suddenly take off and I had a bacterial/algae bloom. I did a water change and added conditioners to the water and within a few hours or the next day it had returned to normal. Now the plants I have grown twice the size in the space of two weeks so I’m imagining I’m almost finished the cycle. Bacterial blooms are totally normal and beneficial bacteria’s are establishing themselves in the tank.
That was exactly the information I was looking for!! Thought I was messing things up, turns out I was doing things right. Your recording was very informative! Thanks!!
New 20 gallon tank, added beneficial bacteria per recommendation, no fish in tank yet. 2 days later water was cloudy. See a video that this was the bloom and would subside. It did subside. However one week later still no fish and now starting to cloud again. We do have 2 live plants as well. Please advise was hoping to have water checked again and get my girls their fish.

Thank you so much..I was so worried...I'm a first time fish aquarium owner..this really helped when I came home from work and saw how cloudy the water was in my fish tank! Before I left it was clear as day 😊
We set up a 20 gal for a axolotl in late Nov. As of today we still have cloudy water. 3-4wks ago the water was crystal clear for the 1st time for 1 wk. Been cloudy all but the 1 wk. No substrate. A few ghost shrimp and a few plants. (Java fern) Do weekly water changes. 5-6gallon per wk. Started adding fritz 7 a few wks ago. Had water tested with the professional spinning water tester machine. Parameters are in safe areas from what we were told as of Sat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Just sized-up from a 3 gallon tank to a 5.5 for my beta fish. Remembered my tank water getting cloudy before but just needed a reminder on how to handle the cloudy water. Great video!
I can't believe I didn't think of this, but I shined a flashlight in the water (axlotls like darkness) and the water was green! I never considered algae because the water looked so milky from the front of the tank. Now I have a whole new topic to study!!! And I'm buying air stones right now...
Great to hear Ellen! Green water is not that bad. Just means a nutrient deficiency Maybe cut the amount of time the light is on or cut down ferts if you are fertilizing heavily. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I just set up a new 6 gallon tank and added tetra safe start, later the night I noticed the water was cloudy. I amuse this means the cycle is starting like it should, my question is it safe to add my Betts in or should I wait for the water to clear up?
this is such a good video, u literally explained everything i was going through and my concerns on my new tank turning cloudy after 7 days of having the fish in there. helped alot!
i started my tank out with some nitrate chemicals after i filled it up with water. just to get things started. then i added some plants a few days later. is it ok to add some fish even though it is still cloudy? i tested my chemicals and they are all perfect.
I put a new betta of mine in a 10 gallon planted, heated, and filtered tank. I didn't have time to let the tank cycle before putting him in. Will he remain safe and healthy through the cycle without any water changes? I have beneficial bacteria i can add as well to help the process. I just want to make sure he won't suffer any negative effects from not doing any water changes until the bloom is over.
Thank you so much. After watching this video. I let my DiY Tank in Foggy stage for 3days. Then I put some cleaned charcoals and gravels in my Top Filter. And after 2 more days. The water becomes clear. Maybe it will help to others too.
Thanks for this. My daughter and I are complete noobs and this video explains exactly what we are experiencing and hopefully the solution (water and plants added 24hrs ago and water is now cloudy). Thx for the video. 😊👍🏻
Hi again, just an update about my cloudy tank, well i did a 75% water change the very next day which dropped my nitrates considerably , and which also got rid of my very low ammonia reading ,and my nitrites are at zero, and my nitrates are between 5-10 ppm i added seachem prime at a double dose (2 capfuls) , then added a single cap full of prime each day for the next 3 or 4 days just in case my ammonia levels started to rise again which they didnt , seachem prime doesnt get rid of ammonia but it does detoxify it . i also added fluval cycle biological enhancer to replace any good bacteria i may have lost during my water change and continued to add bacteria each day just to build it back up, i cut back on feeding my fish from twice a day to once every other day ,and now my tank is crystal clear and my fish are looking great .by the way my lad set his tank up a week after mine and he also put a similar amount of fish in but his tank did go back into a second nitrogen cycle,so we gave his tank the same treatment as above only with more water changes and it worked! anyway my aquarium is a juwel rio 180 with filtration being a fluval 407 and a 307 filters, 2x fluval e series 200w heaters, ocean rock with white sand substrate and no plants . thanks to your video ive got a better understanding thanks again ! tc
Thats great to hear! Thanks for the update and keep us updated. Send a pic of your tank to pics@tropicalfishguy.com or a link to a video if you want and I'll feature in a future video.
Hi just want to say thank you It was so hard not to do anything but I did it took about month almost 2 an my fish tank started to clear best advice ever
Thanks, I have a Turtle that makes huge messes... Ive been changing my water and cleaning filters weekly! Now I know to allow the water to go through the cycle.
I sorta went all out and bought a fluval FX 6 and only have a 50 gal tank at the moment, will be getting a 75 or 100 soon though. I am just really trying to educate myself now to get it right
Haha, not such a great set up yet, I don’t have a stand yet, my filter is just sitting next to my tank at the moment. I’ll be getting a stand to put my filter under when I get the new tank.
Hey man. I think I got a bacterial bloom going on in my aquascape tank. I haven’t add any fish atm. Do I need to add some fish to start the nitrogen cycle? Does the bacterial bloom harm the fishes and also the live plants? Is it okay to supply co2 in the tank like usual? Please answer my question. I really need some answers. It’s my 2nd day for my new aquascape tank and the water is cloudy. I guess it’s my fault adding slightly too much ADA bacter when setting up my substrate. Please help. Thank you :’)
Hi Arif. You added the bacter which is good. It can cause cloudiness since it's bacteria. The cycle starts when there is ammonia introduced. This is commonly done by adding fish. You can add ammonia drops if you don't want to stress the fish out. If you are going to add fish then get some hardy ones like small gouramis, guppies, mollies. I would avoid tetras or other sensitive fish. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hey, I'm new to this I got a 10g tank with a couple of live plants and a betta. I was confused by this because yesterday the water was fine. Thanks for clearing this up 😄😄
Bless. This is exactly what I needed. I've had a 40 gallon bow tank for over 10 years. I got so used to seeing it clear all the time. Now I upgraded to a 55 gallon tank and I noticed it was slightly cloudy for the last two days. I panicked for a bit since I hadn't been at this point for a very long time haha. Thank you so much!!!
Yes me too. The same situation when i turn on the water filter+air stone bubble after 48hours my water become a bit cloudy. My tank right now without any fish. Just a fish tank with water filter+k1 media filter+lava stone+air stone.
Shooting Stars Could be organics in the water. It should go away. The best thing to do to know what’s happening for sure is to test your water. You need a test kit anyway no matter what. I’ve got a link in the description for a test kit. Also search for my video on how to test your water.
Yes I see 4 video to understand until I see your video.. thank buddy.. now I will not do anything to my cluody water fish tank... And just wait and see.. thanks again.
I found another solution just with tissue paper. No need of UV light and no frequent water change. It works well for me for last 3 months. If interested, you may watch video
Thanks for sharing this video with us. My fish died. I clean the tank and put in new rocks and got a new pump. Two days later the tank turn white. I have not put a fish in it yet. Do you think I should put a fish in the tank. I was planning to see what was going to happen with the white of the water first.
Thank you! I just put a couple plants, and beneficial bacteria (no fish yet) into my tank when i set it up a couple days ago and within a day or two it became cloudy. I didnt know if it was algea growing or what so im glad to hear that this is normal
Is it beneficial to squeeze some filter matter from a tank that has been well seasoned (for 1.5 years) or add water from an established tank? Does it speed up the cycle
Thanks so much 🙏🏾🙂💖💯 truly appreciated 🙏🏾💖💯 just got 2 brand new 2.5 tanks for my Bettas. I added the sand, plants, water, and conditioner then let them cycle for a couple of hours before adding my Bettas to their individual tanks... however, 12 hours later it was still cloudy 😥 was getting worried and concerned for my new buddies until I came across your video in search of help 🙂 I'll most definitely give it a try 🙏🏾🙂💖💯 thanks again
@@TropicalFishGuy They're great 🙂💖💯 the water cleared up by itself the next day just like you said 🙏🏾💯 thanks again 🙏🏾💖💯 I've got them quarantined right now during our quarantine coincidentally because they started showing signs of fin rot and ick 🥺🥺🥺 I've been treating them with Bettafix and api ick, hope they get better soon.
This def cleared up a bunch for me, no pun intended. I have a somewhat new tank, about 2 weeks old, lost some fish at the start, have 4 glofish in a 10 gallon that has gotten increasingly cloudy over the last 4-5 days. Water tests good & fish are thriving, but I was getting frustrated because I read it only lasts a few days, but mine it still getting cloudier. I did add some safe start but I didn't know how much to do in a tank in the middle of a cycle so I only did a capful for now. Got some water clarifier so hopefully that helps speed up the process.
It can take days to weeks depending on the tank. Don't get frustrated and just let it do it's cycle. Test the water and you may see a spike. It's been 5 days since you posted this comment. How does the water test now?
Tropical Fish Guy I’ve been doing 3 days of 5ml of water clarifier & it’s been crystal clear since yesterday. Finally. Thanks for the reply. Without this video I probably would’ve tried doing too much.
Tropical Fish Guy Ok, since my update yesterday on the clear tank, today I noticed lots of white particles floating in the tank. It was either floss from padding that I was using in my filter or price stickers from the bottom of the fake plants. It was everywhere. So I had to do a 100% water change because it was all in the gravel as well as in the actual filter. The fish were a little stressed from being moved pretty quickly back and forth & I know 100% water changes can be really stressful, but will that effect the cycle considering I had to dump the water out of the filter as well?
If you are having fish die, I would assume the water conditions are bad. I would get the test kit I recommend in the video and do a test. If ammonia or nitrite is high then you need to change water and/or rehome fish temporarily. I would feed lightly every other day and make sure there is no food at the bottom. It can rot and cause problems. But first test your water and check back with the results and we can go from there.
Hello friend I'm in a pinch and could use a quick answer if possible. We bought a 55gal new tank washed and added rocks, real and plastic plants little pirate ship stuff and then used a new water heater to get it to 75'F, 24hrs later once temp was reached we put chlorine drops then added about 5smaller fish. In 24hrs it was cloudy 3larger fish died but the others are fine . I'm thinking polymer overdose like a pool but what do you think. Everthing new no algea on walls. Thank you.
To be honest i buy new tank last 3 days and after a day my tank get cloudy and to be honest i clean my new tank and chnges the whole water then after that the cloudy thing came back so i decided to go youtube after 5 videos luckily i found u.thank u... For the advice #naturalprocess Ilove it. Thank u
good advise i have a 90 galllon with sump going threw the same thing ive had 30 aquaruims that never had that issue ur video was very helpful thank you
I don't have any fish in my 29 gallon tank all it has is decoration, however I did add bacteria to the tank, and now the tank is cloudy. now I'm wondering if it's the bacteria, or if I didn't rinse my decoration enough
%100 great info. I've kept fish tanks for 50 years and this is the only way to handle it. Less is more. If you have a way to test and understand the relationships in a tank then testing will illustrate the cycling of the tank. Things like potassium permaginate will indeed clear the water but you are simply prolonging the cycling, adding more chemicals that run a risk of harm.
Thank you so much I greatly appreciate it I have a new 75 g tank and like u said I woke up the next morning and the water is chalky looking !!! I really appreciate all your good advice ty ty ty
I used prime while I had cloudy water and what I noticed it made it worse. I think prime breaks down nh3+4 no2 and no3. But without enough beneficial bacteria it just prolongs the cycle. I add only b-b now by ATM cycle. Seems to be working better. But as you said, it needs to go through its nitrogen cycle. The only thing that worries me is the nh3+4, it's about 1ppm. Now is it nh4? or the deadly nh3 that could sicken the fish? And would you agree that a 10% water change would lower that ammonia level Not touching anything else? Thanks
Thank you for advice. Sir ,, it can happen that a new tank ( without fish) become cloudy!!? And what the reason ? My fish tank just start it after 6 months was clean and dry . I add only water - without fish and without bacteria - but after 12 hours water became cloudy!!
I took out my gravel out and removed all the water and my tetra i put the fish in another container for now I added safe start and easy balance to the tap water and I'm using the old filter I had how long should I wait before putting my fish back in my tank is 10 gal and no real plants
Yellow or brown? Do you have any wood or leaves to make it browish/yellow? You can send me an email with some pics and I'll try and see what's going on. send to pics@tropicalfishguy.com
What if I set up the tank, cleaned new tank with warm water only, washed new sand from the pet shop 3-4 times, added that to the tank, added decorations, filter and heater on, added Aqua start and bacto start and the water was very cloudy in the 1st day, 2-3rd better but after a week still not 100% clean 😩🤯 no fish or real plants just yet. Do I wait another week? Or more? Or do I have to clean the sand again and replace water and add other things again? No idea what went wrong 🤔🤷🏼♀️ please help and thanks 🙌🏼
Turned out for me being sand being a pain in the a#@..I cleaned it thoroughly..I thought..I did water changes.. everything ..took ever last train of sand out...after relocating the fish..washed..then washed..then washed..put most of the same water in and it cleared out in an hour..thank God, I'm 51 and been at this hobby since I was 6.. still learning things

Just sized-up from a 3 gallon tank to a 5.5 for my beta fish. Remembered my tank water getting cloudy before but just needed a reminder on how to handle the cloudy water. Great video!
Thanks for commenting Zachary!
That's a tough call. Depending on what the water parameters are. What did you end up doing?
I am so glad you speak real people English. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for watching and the nice comment!
Thanks. Finally convinced someone to leave it alone.
These tips are also applicable to goldfish. Thank you for sharing
this is such a good video, u literally explained everything i was going through and my concerns on my new tank turning cloudy after 7 days of having the fish in there. helped alot!
Glad it helped
i’ve been staring at my new cloudy tank for a week. thanks so much ❤
i started my tank out with some nitrate chemicals after i filled it up with water. just to get things started. then i added some plants a few days later. is it ok to add some fish even though it is still cloudy? i tested my chemicals and they are all perfect.
Yes I would add fish. Thanks for the comment!
Bettas are pretty tough. I would add the bacteria and test the water. If it gets over 2 ppm then I would start doing water changes.
Thank you so much. After watching this video. I let my DiY Tank in Foggy stage for 3days. Then I put some cleaned charcoals and gravels in my Top Filter. And after 2 more days. The water becomes clear. Maybe it will help to others too.
Yes, charcoal is good for filtration. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I been changing the water and filters every other day till i watch this video. Thank you .
oh my God my tank has hope then ... thank you so much
Thanks for this. My daughter and I are complete noobs and this video explains exactly what we are experiencing and hopefully the solution (water and plants added 24hrs ago and water is now cloudy). Thx for the video. 😊👍🏻
Glad it was helpful! THanks for watching and commenting!
Can we add more fishes during this cycle process? I currently have one 8” PB in a 3 days young 120gallon tank.
If the ammonia and nitrite levels are low then you can add fish. Once the ammonia and/or nitrites are elevated I would wait til the cycle is complete.
Hi just want to say thank you It was so hard not to do anything but I did it took about month almost 2 an my fish tank started to clear best advice ever
I’m gonna let my wife watch this she can get off my back I told her this already lol🤫🤓
😂😂
😂😂
😂💀
Thanks, I have a Turtle that makes huge messes... Ive been changing my water and cleaning filters weekly! Now I know to allow the water to go through the cycle.
Turtles are messy so you may want to keep your weekly water change routine depending on your filter situation and size.
I sorta went all out and bought a fluval FX 6 and only have a 50 gal tank at the moment, will be getting a 75 or 100 soon though. I am just really trying to educate myself now to get it right
You've got a great setup. I'm very interested in seeing it. Send me some pics to pics@tropicalfishguy.com and I'll do a shoutout.
Haha, not such a great set up yet, I don’t have a stand yet, my filter is just sitting next to my tank at the moment. I’ll be getting a stand to put my filter under when I get the new tank.
Clash Course With Ares That’s how I do it too. It doesn’t matter as long as it makes you happy!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
out of the many vids ive watched this guy is straight to the point and explains very well 5 stars
Hey, I'm new to this I got a 10g tank with a couple of live plants and a betta. I was confused by this because yesterday the water was fine. Thanks for clearing this up 😄😄
Glad I could provide you value. Thanks for your comment!
Does the water stink to?
I just started a fish tank and waited for the 48 hours and I’m getting odor in the water can you let me know what causes that
It sounds like it's bacteria building up. Do you have fish and filter running for 48 hours or just the tank with water?
Yes me too. The same situation when i turn on the water filter+air stone bubble after 48hours my water become a bit cloudy. My tank right now without any fish. Just a fish tank with water filter+k1 media filter+lava stone+air stone.
@@TropicalFishGuy can you help me or advice me?
Shooting Stars Could be organics in the water. It should go away. The best thing to do to know what’s happening for sure is to test your water. You need a test kit anyway no matter what. I’ve got a link in the description for a test kit. Also search for my video on how to test your water.
Thanks alot best video I've seen about cloudy water?
Wow, thanks!
Took me about 4 videos watched. Until see this. Love it just don't do anything with cloudy water. simple as that. 5 ⭐
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I'm glad I could give you value!
I would test the water first and see what if it's safe to put fish in.
@@TropicalFishGuy how do you test the water? I’m confused and I’m trying to add my fish in my new aquarium.
Thank you! I just put a couple plants, and beneficial bacteria (no fish yet) into my tank when i set it up a couple days ago and within a day or two it became cloudy. I didnt know if it was algea growing or what so im glad to hear that this is normal
I'm glad i could be helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Very good explanation of how to just chill out and give time to your aquarium. Thank u
Is it beneficial to squeeze some filter matter from a tank that has been well seasoned (for 1.5 years) or add water from an established tank?
Does it speed up the cycle
Added a plant. Changed 10% of the water. 2 snails. Ones acting dead. Maybe it is. Wishing for clear water. Then I will have arrived
Yes, It will be a great day. Just be patient and it will clear up. Thanks for watching and commenting!
That's great! The cycle doesn't start until you add the fish. How are they doing now?
@@TropicalFishGuy They're great 🙂💖💯 the water cleared up by itself the next day just like you said 🙏🏾💯 thanks again 🙏🏾💖💯 I've got them quarantined right now during our quarantine coincidentally because they started showing signs of fin rot and ick 🥺🥺🥺 I've been treating them with Bettafix and api ick, hope they get better soon.
@@TropicalFishGuy any advice on how to make this a better outcome is well welcomed as well 🙏🏾🙂💖💯 thanks in advance
depends on the filter. If you filter has good amount of bio media it may be faster to cycle.
Wow.. you gave the most informative and honest answer to the cloudy water issue. I can stop watching videos after seeing this one. Thank you!
3 dead glofish, a tetra, and I'm here. I wished that I had k own this prior to buying the fish.🐟
Bruh😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I bought the SAME EXACT fish . 3 glo fish and 2 tetra , 3 of them have died 😭😭😭😭
Me too, I started with 6 tetras and three of them have died!
Hey, this hapend to me too, and some fish died :((( ( it is a new aquarium)
So, should i do nothing?
If you are having fish die, I would assume the water conditions are bad. I would get the test kit I recommend in the video and do a test. If ammonia or nitrite is high then you need to change water and/or rehome fish temporarily. I would feed lightly every other day and make sure there is no food at the bottom. It can rot and cause problems. But first test your water and check back with the results and we can go from there.
Very informative! Thanks! Subscribed

Thank you.
Is adding water clarifier a good idea if youre just starting cycling? Also, will plants slow down the cycle since they absorb the nutrients??
Can bacteria bloom cause suffocation in fish and decrease in oxygen level? Or is it sth else?
To be honest i buy new tank last 3 days and after a day my tank get cloudy and to be honest i clean my new tank and chnges the whole water then after that the cloudy thing came back so i decided to go youtube after 5 videos luckily i found u.thank u... For the advice #naturalprocess
Ilove it. Thank u
good advise i have a 90 galllon with sump going threw the same thing ive had 30 aquaruims that never had that issue ur video was very helpful thank you
I don't have any fish in my 29 gallon tank all it has is decoration, however I did add bacteria to the tank, and now the tank is cloudy. now I'm wondering if it's the bacteria, or if I didn't rinse my decoration enough
Thanks for sharing your extensive experience. Really appreciate it.
A very good expanation. I like your style, content and the way you explained to us. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for the encouragement Ahmad!
@@TropicalFishGuy your are most welcome!
Thank you so much I greatly appreciate it I have a new 75 g tank and like u said I woke up the next morning and the water is chalky looking !!! I really appreciate all your good advice ty ty ty
I'm glad I could be helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks
Wow thank you and ya made it understandable!! You go bro !!
Thank you for advice.
Sir ,, it can happen that a new tank ( without fish) become cloudy!!? And what the reason ?
My fish tank just start it after 6 months was clean and dry . I add only water - without fish and without bacteria - but after 12 hours water became cloudy!!
Could it be because I didn’t clean the gravel properly. And should I put my beta in the tank while it’s like that.
I took out my gravel out and removed all the water and my tetra i put the fish in another container for now I added safe start and easy balance to the tap water and I'm using the old filter I had how long should I wait before putting my fish back in my tank is 10 gal and no real plants
Hi Manuel. You should have added the fish by now. How are they doing?
@@TropicalFishGuy the water got very cloudy and now it's yellow
Yellow or brown? Do you have any wood or leaves to make it browish/yellow? You can send me an email with some pics and I'll try and see what's going on. send to pics@tropicalfishguy.com
Thank you for sharing your amazing wisdom on this cloudy tank situation your very informative. 💯✌❤🐟
I'm still learning things as well. Nice to have you in the community! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Man I was ready to give up on my tank but now I think I'm going to give it more time. Thanks for making it easy to understand.
