If you live in L.A. you know this house. I'm surprised it didn't sell for more, it's cooler than the $100M homes selling in CA, and Cher's house is on it's own private jetty with zero neighbors.. it's the most private house in Malibu.

Her house was pretty much the only one standing undamaged in the Malibu fires a few years ago. My guess is that she may have had a good connection to Malibu Fire Department.
In any event, I doubt that this is a location that any insurer would insure. It is also on a steep cliff and prone to erosion damage. I don't have $85mil, but even if I had this would not be my choice.

It will sell, due to not only is it Malibu, it's Cher within name. Her name sells itself for most part. If a non famous person owned it, it would take awhile to sell. But with knowing cher herself walked/lived within this house, it's a museum with a legacy departure.

That house is for a matriarch of 6 children as there would be 6 famlies of 4 equal to 24 people enjoying holidays at grandma's house........Think about the drive home........you look out the window and see a homeless person sleeping in the open and you drive up to 13,200 sqft.
