For anyone considering a brush cutter blade, I highly recommend the brush destructor. I have a commercial brush clearing business and have put his previous model 16 blade through its paces(It still works as good as it did when I first got it). It lives up to all of his claims and then some. VERY high performance piece of equipment and VERY durable. They are not cheap but are worth every penny that he charges for them.

Hi dan, No I have not, but in many ways it would be good if a large company did. I am a designer, not a marketing, packaging and mailing person. This tedious task has become all too consuming of my time, so much so that much of the enjoyment of developing this product is buried in the mundane tasks. This leaves no time to totally redesign the brush cutter, to take it to the next level, like I have done with this blade, which for me is very frustrating. In the past, I have offered my ideas to brush cutter manufacturers, on improvements that they should look at to make their machine better going into the future and not one has had the decency to even reply to my emails. Unfortunately these big companies do not take criticism well, I on the other hand love it. I see criticism as an opportunity, every problem created a need for an improvement and an opportunity. Unfortunately for large companies, that have to get their prices down to be competitive. Must manufacturer in large quantities, this makes them unable to change and adapt quickly.
William Bissell I run a sthil fs 360 and fs 460 clearing saw. You don't need blades for grass even as thick as in this video, I use sthil square yellow line, it's pretty brutal stuff
that's not normal grass, if you're referring to the first clip. it's extremely tough and fibrous, like you could make rope out of it. you can cut it with a cheap fixed blade but you will be stopping regularly to untangle the head

it's the best for blackberries. I have had 20 hours or so clearing blackberries with it. no need to drag the vines out, it just mulches everything up.
Where can i buy one for a curved shaft trimmer?
A hedge trimmer might do that in half the time.
It does not look like it is cutting but chewing the grass, the head looks too heavy.

the head is very heavy, it's about 850grams, it's intended to be that way, it wouldn't do what it does without the weight. think of it like a flywheel
My rotor-blade for trimmer I made-is more powerfull.
This tool would look a lot better if you got someone who knows how to use a brush/weed blade.

you actually have to cut a full ring around the tree to kill it, hence the term ring-barking

that's not even slightly true. the swingback blades make it LESS dangerous, when comparing to a fixed blade.
Only the tree blade is worth a crap
All its doing is chewing up the grass instead of cutting. I can do the same with my $7 blade that I bought at Home Depot.
