Dude, Lazulight's outfit relays were the most hype moment in Nijisanji EN for me. Now I'm waiting for Rosemi's outfit since she's my favorite of the branch, I can't wait to see what Obsydia has in store.

Worcestershire cut in syllables is: Worce-ster-shire.
The "ce" is an "s", like "space". People just read the "ces" as a "kes" or "ses", but it is part of the first syllable "worce" lol. Then it's just "-ster-shire". Simple lol

in my experience it's been pronounced as wou-ster-shire. which may just be my south english dialect kicking in, but i haven't heard it pronounced different around here yet. just americans not being able to say it. and yes we do get a giggle out of it

When you think about it, the Worcestershire does make sense from the linguistic perspective.
Now, that might be totally off the mark, but etymologically, I assume it was originally worce-ster-shire (wars-stair-share), but because it has "S" back-to-back, it got simplified with time into "Wars-tur-share" with "ce" and "s" merging into a single consonant. Then "Wor" got simplified into "Woo"/"Woh" because of the omitted "R" and that's how we get "Woo-stair-share". Phonetic simplification (or whatever it's being called in English) is something completely normal, and it happens in pretty much every language where there are consonant clusters.

The key to pronouncing Worcestershire is to split it up properly. A lot of people split it up as "wor- cest-er-shire" but you're supposed to split it up as "worce- ster-shire". So the guy you were making fun of who said it was pronounced "Wur stur shur" was correct.
